Just kidding. I want him out at this very moment. Burning my rations is unacceptable.

"Really?" he asks, wide-eyed and all. Idiot.

"No. Get the hell out of here before I call the cops," I hiss, reaching towards the device attached to the wall that literally only has the ability to alert the authorities. This is one thing I know works. Well, I don't know, I'm just assuming since it's required by the government to have a device to contact the police in every living space.

"Come on, give me a chance," he whines. Is her serious?

"No."

"You're mean."

"I'm calling the cops," I reply, lifting the covering and hovering my finger over the button, waiting for this guy to leave.

"Wait! What if I told you that I'm here on behalf of the government?" Finn responds to my threat. Does he think I'm an idiot?

"Do you think I'm an idiot, Finn. If that's even your real name," I sneer. I hear a few curses being released from Finn as he starts walking towards me. Ah shit. He's gonna kill me. This is the last anyone shall hear from Jerry, the authorities wouldn't be able to make it in time even if I did press the button. Jerry, why didn't you summon the police while he was asleep? Or maybe go to Lilia's and have gotten Cole to come back up for you?

"Failure," a new voice sounds from the front door. I have TWO people in my residence? Did he have a hook up or some crap while I was asleep? Damn it, Jerry!

"Echo," Finn speaks, eyes wide and scared as he stares behind me. I turn around and spot a young girl shorter than me by who knows how many inches. Her long light blue hair is tied tightly into two pigtails that have a slight wave to them. Her porcelain skin radiates under the sunlight coming from the kitchen window and the glare blinds me. Goodness, is this chick made of glass or something? So shiny. Hold up, Jerry. There's another glamorous person in your house with eyes that are an unusual light blue. You should probably call Cole or the police right about now.

"I still have time," Finn claims, his pupils shrinking once the girl, Echo, taps at the watch that looks much to big for her small wrist. A hologram appears out of the watch and I watch in awe as she begins tapping away at the virtual keyboard that stands before her eyes. That's some government grade technology right there.

"You've been called out by the authorities and have failed your mission," Echo responds, her unnatural eyes glancing towards Finn for a moment before she begins to type in a four digit code. Only four digits? I watch intently and trace the movement of her fingers without her seeming to notice. "It's no use, the code is reset and transmitted after every sign in."

"What? I wasn't watching to figure out the password," I lie swiftly. So Finn really is involved in government business? If that's the case, maybe I can pry some information about this hologram creating device that Echo has and get a raise by handing over the info to the Director.

"If you do this, this chick will squeak to others," Finn defends. Is he throwing me under the bus? Hell, no. Echo looks up dully.

"Both of you shall be terminated," she yawns, swiping across the hologram and moving things by doing so. Is this what magic is? Great job throwing me under the bus. Damn, can't trust anyone nowadays.

"I don't even know what's going on," I mumble. "How about we forget all about this and he can continue on with whatever he's doing. I'll even let him stay here."

"No," she hums, putting her device away and pulling something somewhat similar to a gun an officer would have, but more high tech. She lifts it and points it at Fin first, firing without flinching. Holy crap. Run, Jerry! Fin disappears into thin air and that's when I tackle this Echo chick. There's no way I'm vaporizing before I've owned a pet. She tumbles onto the floor under me, cursing on her way down. I scramble to my feet. Come on Jerry, what can hurt her? Didn't Fin collapse from stepping in water? I dash to the sink as she get's up, cracking her neck and that shagangbang. I grab the little hose thing and turn on the water, spraying it at her as she comes into view. A spark appears and she releases a laugh.

"A-a-as if they don't make high tech moderators waterproof," she cackles. Well that obviously didn't work. She lifts her vaporizing device and aims it towards me before I hightail it out of the kitchen and out the front door. The cool air slaps me in the face as does the rain. Come on, it's only ten in the morning and there's rain, not to mention the fact that a crazy chick is trying to kill me.  I rush down the stairs and run down the street, rain drenching my clothes. The street is bustling with others as they head to work and I slow down a bit, knowing she wouldn't risk coming out and exposing herself to everyone here. I squish between people, being covered by their umbrellas as I do so. I need to find Hamlet, a person I know who works closely with the government. He should know what's going on, or possibly protect me. After passing several blocks with no shoes on and coat drenched, I approach an apartment complex that my trusted friend lives in. I free myself from the crowd after a good five minute struggle of going against the flow and not have my feet getting stepped on. I carefully make my way up the rusty stairs, not wanting to get stabbed in the foot by something and contract some sort of illness. I go to knock on the door, stuffing my hands in my pockets and releasing a shaking breathe, slightly cold. The door opens and I'm met with the end of a gun before there's a click and a white light fills my vision.
