The Vampire's Mate

Chapter 8

Allison turns around and frowns when she notices us.

"Look at all the new clothes that Xavier got me," Allison says, looking back at the full mirror. She wears my skinny jeans and light green shirt with my black flats.

"Those aren't yours," May growls lowly.

"Of course they are, you're just jealous. Who is she?" she ask, directing her question to me at the end.

"I'm Xavier's mate," I shrug. She spins around to face me. I steal a quick glance at May and she has a far away look in her eyes. Mind link.

"Liar," she hisses.

"I'm pretty sure I'm his mate," I respond," and those are my clothes," I inform.

"I'm his mate and girlfriend!" she hisses. Seconds later Xavier appears at the door with a worried look on his face.

"Girlfriend?" I drag. I pivot to face Xavier that has a scared look on his face. I wear a fake hurt look. I can be very good at acting. I summon tears to my eyes. Poor puppies.

"Jordan, I can explain!" Xavier starts. Tears stream down my face. Why did the puppy have to die? I let out soft sobs.

"I'll be sleeping on my own in a room far way from here," I inform Xavier as I stomp over-dramatically out of the room. May follows me and I start towards her room which is on the other side of the palace. I enter the room across from May's since that was the green room that I loved when I first got hear. I wipe away the fake tears and jump on the bed, starting to laugh.

"You faked it, didn't you?" May deadpans as she closes the door behind her. I nod through my fit of laughter.

"He so bought it!" I laugh as I clutch my stomach. May sits down besides me and grabs my shoulders. I sober up and open my eyes to find May giving me a serious look. Her bright eyes stare at me intensely. Ok?

"He's going to be mad and upset and will probably kill an animal to let it out," she warns. I jump up with my eyes the size of bowling balls. I have to save the animal kingdom! I run at an inhuman speed back to Xavier's room. I look out of the windows that I pass and see the sun slowly start to set. I swing open Xavier's door and find every article of furniture split. I look at the corner of the room where Allison is cornered by a furious Xavier. I've never seen that shade of red before.

"Xavier!" I exclaim as he starts walking towards Allison with his hands ready to rip her apart. He snaps his head to me and is instantly in front of me.

"Jordan, I can explain, please let me explain," Xavier begs as his eyes return to their normal grey hue. I chuckle and he looks at me confused.

"I'm not mad," I snicker. Xavier gives me a look saying ' you have finally lost it'.

"What?" he asks in disbelief. I shake my head in amusement as I hear some voices behind me.

"Bro, why is Allison here?" Zach asks as he enters the destroyed room.

"Allison, why are you here?" Lucy asks, more like sneers.

"I'm back from California and came here to seem MY mate and MY boyfriend," Allison snarles back.

"Wait, who is that?" Lucy asks. I turn around and see Luke, May's mate.

"This is Luke, my mate," May smiles. Luke pecks her on the lips and May returns the kiss eagerly.

"Ahh! My innocent eyes!" I joke as I cover my eyes with my hand.

"Shut up," May mutters.

"Now back to the situation at hand," Lucy redirects, pointing at Allison.
