“Yes?” I reply coldly. Instead of telling me why he required my attention, he suddenly grabs my wrist and drags me upstairs to a room I’ve never been in before at an unexpected speed. What ended up happening, you may ask. Well, due to the fact I was completely unprepared, I face plant as soon as we stop in the room. Yes, I, Jordan, face planted at super speed. How did it feel? Like a brick was thrown at my face.

“Shit, I’m sorry, Love,” Xavier curses as he picks me off the ground and sets me in a chair as I cover my nose. Fun fact, vampires do bleed, and right now, I’m creating a river with my bloody nose. Such joy.

“Don’t call me that,” I mutter as I look around the room in search of some tissues. Xavier runs his hand through his hair in frustration before crouching down next to me and moving my hand away from my nose. This is kind of funny, I must look like a disaster right now, and here he is still looking as amazing as ever.

“Ouch,” Xavier mumbles once he sees the stream of blood flowing from my nose. At that moment, I burst into laughter. I mean clutching-my-stomach-because-it’s-going-to-burst-due-to-how-hard-I’m-laughing laughter. Through my tears of laughter, not pain, I can faintly see Xavier smiling and chuckling slightly at me. Once I’ve calmed down to the extent where I can wipe my eyes and my blood has stopped flowing from my nose, Xavier offers me a tissue from who knows where and I take it to wipe away the blood.

“You’re amazing,” Xavier comments once I’m done wiping the blood off. I glance up at him since by now he’s standing up.

“How so?” I question casually. I guess you can say that I forgive people too easily, especially when they make me laugh, so he’s forgiven and I’m moving on.

“You’re-You’re always so carefree and happy, even after everything that has happened, you’re still just as cheerful as you were before,” Xavier answers, picking me up once again, much to my annoyance.

“People have to move on or else they won’t keep up with life,” I comment. Xavier stares straight at me, it’s like he’s staring into my soul. This is excruciatingly uncomfortable.

“I love you,” Xavier says for the umpteenth time, pulling me into a tight embrace after setting me down on my feet. After a few minutes of silence, I lift my arms and return his hug.

“I’m sorry, for being so harsh” I speak, breaking the silence.

“You had every right to be mad, how about we go out tonight?” Xavier responds, releasing me from the hug and holding me at arm’s length with bright eyes.

“Sure, I have nothing to lose,” I shrug.

“WHAT TIME DOES SHE HAVE TO BE READY BY?” Jenna asks, bursting into the room.

“JENNA!” Zach calls from down the hall somewhere.

“SHUT UP BEFORE I TAKE UP TAXIDERMY AND DECIDE TO STUFF YOU!” Jenna yells back before turning back to us,” What. Time.”

“Ten sharp,” Xavier answers blinking a few times before doing so.

“We have nine hours,” Jenna calculates before grabbing me and pulling me away from Xavier and out the front door, grabbing my shoes on the way.

“Where are we going?” I ask as I slip on my flip flops and climb into the car Jenna has the keys to.

“The mall,” she laughs manically. She speeds onto the road before I can abandon ship.

Sora’s POV

“We’re here!” I wheeze once we burst into Amy’s apartment.
