The Vampire's Mate

Chapter 36

We all tumble into the car after dropping May and Luke off and Luke's place and Lucy off with Hunter at the pack house.

"I want more ice cream," I  sigh as I finish my cone.

"Jennaaaaa, I want my ice cream," Zach whines. I poke his mini dragon tattoo and his arm and give him a puppy face. 

"Please?" I plead, looking at his rainbow sherbet ice cream. I bet it tastes wonderful. Without waiting for a response, I reach over and grab his cone, stuffing it in my face. 

"Dang it, you owe me a new one," he pouts. I shrug and continue eating the cone.

"How are you not fat? How is she not fat?" Sora asks from the backseat, leaning forward and between the two of us.

"I have no clue, but we're home, shall we?" Zach announces. I shrug and get out of the car, happily skipping to the front door and swinging the door open while licking the ice cream cone, instantly regreting it.

"HOLY SHIT MY EYES!" I yell, dropping my ice cream and staring at horror at the two guys in front of me. I instantly walk out and shut the door behind me, still in a state of shock.

"What is is?" Sora asks, taking her katana out and warily looking at the door behind me.

"Oh nothing, but we should sleep over with Lucy, or May, don't you think?" I suggest quickly, dragging them away from the door and back towards the car. Sadly, I'm not exactly stronger than a dark angel and a vampire that has a lot more experience than me. They get out of my grip and open the door.

"FUCKING HELL WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE!?" Sora yelps as she storms into Luke and Kyou. Making out on the couch. Without shirts on.

"MY COUCH!" Zach groans out as Kyou and Luke quickly pull away and stand up.

"I-uh-" they both stutter.

"Awwww, we have a gay couple now! My life is complete," I coo as I find their shirts and toss them back to the two half naked guys.

"We have to keep this on the down low," Kyou urgently whispers, pulling his shirt on and assuming the correct Commander position.

"Dude, there are gay couples everywhere, the world has accepted it," I comment as Luke quietly slips out of the palace. I glance over to Kyou to see his reaction and a slash of hurt and rejection flashes past his black oebs. Wow, I'm becoming deep. At that moment, Jordan walks down the stairs in sweat pants and an extremely large shirt, which I assume is Xavier's.

"What's with all the yelling?" she groans, walking up to me and leaning against me," I'm sleepy."

"Well it is," Sora comments, coming to the other side of me," 3:32 a.m."

"Well howdy there," Ace says, flying in from nowhere.

"No! You all find rooms to sleep in, I'm going to bed, and if I wake up before 12, you will all die," Jordan warns before stumbling up the stairs and into her and Xavier's room. Well then someone's cranky.

"Yeah, Sora and I will be going to sleep now," Ace winks, dragging Sora away as she punches him continuously. Why wouldn't sh euse her katana? I look around and see it on the ground. Okay, that explains a lot.

"Yeah, goodnight, Jenna and I will be going to bed, you should get some sleep too Kyou," Zach calls out as he drags me up the stairs.

Kyou POV

"Shit," I mutter to myself as I pace my room. I can still feel the shocks on my mouth. The thing is that I liked it. Really liked it. In fact, I want more. 

"Hey Kyou," I hear the once sweet voice knock at the door, but now it's just a normal female voice.

"Come in," I respond, taking a seat on my bed and running my hand through my black hair. Sora's small stature opens the door and she leans against the frame.

"Whatcha gonna do about being mated to your enemy?" she grins. At the moment, I am pissed, and not afraid to hit a girl.

"If you're here to mock me, you can get the fuck out," I hiss at her, baring my fangs. I need blood.

Luke's blood, that annoying voice in my head chirps. If only I could kill it without killing myself.

"I want a gay best friend, I am here to make you my best friend," she deadpans. I raise an eyebrow and she sits on the desk in the corner of my room.

"Making friends with your exmate isn't that simple," I respond, watching her every move.

"It is when you're as cute as me," she responds.

"Sora?" I hear Ace's voice call from down the hall.

"Shit, hide me," she hisses at me. In my moment of panic, I pick her up and shove her under my bed.

"Ew, old pizza? Really?" she whisper shouts at me as I rush to my desk and sit in the chair. Ace walks into the doorway and looks at me.

"Have you seen Sora?" he asks, glancing around my fairly plain and fairly clean room.

"No, why?" I ask him, spinning my chair around to face him.

"Reasons," he answers. Before he can head out of my room, a loud sneeze echos from under my bed and a fit of swearing follows.

"THE FUCKING SQUIRREL IS DOWN HERE!" Sora screams before scrambling away from under my bed. The little squirrel from a few weeks ago comes out from under my bed and looks at the three of us in terror. 

"It has demons in it's eyes!" Ace squeals before jumping into Sora's arms once she's on her feet.

"Shit, you weigh a ton," she huffs as she climbs onto the table as the squirrel innocently looks at me.

"Are you calling me fat?" he gasps dramatically. The squirrel moves and they shriek in fear.

"Well I'm not calling you under or of average weight,"Sora huffs before dropping him onto the table. These people are dark angels? I can only imagine what others would be like.
