Chapter 16

"We finally got rid of her!" Zach declares, fist pumping the air. He awkwardly lowered his arm when he noticed the glares Jenna, Sora and I shoot him. He coughs as Jenna's glare intensifies.

"Well, I guess I should start packing," I sigh as I head to the closet.

"Where do you think you're going?" Xavier asks as he follows me to the closet.

"I'm going to save my sister's sorry arse," I huff as I search for a bag to pack in. I'm suddenly pulled back into a.. wall?

"You aren't going anywhere, you can get hurt," he hisses lowly. I squirm out of his grip and turn to face him with a scowl.

"Last time I checked, I can do anything I want with my life and am not a possession," I hiss and I turn back to find a bag. He grumbles something about me being his. I ignore it and pick up a backpack. Way too big.

"What are you planning to do?" Sora asks as she enters the room, leaving the bickering couple in the room. I catch a glimps of Jenna pouncing on Zach before they exit the room.

"Get there, get Tiffany to leave, kick some arse, then return unharmed," I explain as I pick up another backpack. Eh, good enough. I start unzipping it when something cuts me.

"Ouch," I hiss as I pull the cut on my wrist to my mouth. I suck on the blood, and yes, vampires do bleed. I hear a low growl and look as Sora attempts to hold back Xavier, whose eyes have turned a crimson red. Zach suddenly barges into the room with Jenna trailing him.

"You've gone into blood lust," Zach informs me as he helps restrain Xavier.

"That mean... chiz," Jenna groans.

"Ah man, I have to keep both of you away from these buffoons," Sora groans. She ties up Xavier and Zach with an unexpected speed with the ties that hang on the wall.

"Come on, I'll explain soon," Sora says as she drags us out of the room. We dash down the hall and into a room, with a steel door, that is strong enough to hold off vampires. We all struggle to open the door and quickly enter the room as the door slams shut.

"Explain the speed and strength you acquired," Jenna deadpans as Sora bounces onto the giant bed in the middle of the even bigger room. Jenna joins her shortly.

"I'm a dark angel, let's announce it to the world!" she responds sarcastically.

"What's the difference between a dark angel and normal angel?" I ask as I look hungrily at the fridge. Food. I walk over to the mini fridge and fling the door open. Blood, blood, blood, blood, oreos! I grab the vampire oreos as rip open the package. I examine the red cream that I'm not use to . I take a slow bite as I read the ingredients. Oh yeah, vampire oreos have blood in the cream. Heh.

"Well, a dark angel is sent down to Earth to kill people who have done something wrong, while normal angels just sit on their arses and flip their blonde hair as the reapply their sparkly pink lip gloss," Sora huffs. I examine her dark hair and non-sparkly lips. Wow, they are complete opposites.

"So, you kill people," Jenna asks. Sora nods mutely.

"So explain this 'blood lust'," Jenna continues as I sit on the bed next to them. Jenna steals one of my oreos and I shoot her a glare. How dare her eat one of my many children. Wait, ignore that statement.

"Blood lust is when the girl has an irresistible scent to all males and they want to.. fully mate with that girl," Sora explains uncomfortably. We nod and I abruptly stop.

"Every unmated male vampire?" I question. Sora nods in confirmation and I groan. I jump when I hear a loud bang on the door.

"Chiz," Sora mutters.

"Let us in!" a voice that I recognize as Zach's growls before another bang resounds through the large room.

"Fudge off Zach!" Sora yells back.

"Give me Jordan!" Xavier's voice booms before the door is hit again.

"Go make me a sandwich peasant!" I demand. I hear a muttered 'ok' and feet shuffling to the kitchen.

"I didn't think that would really work," I mutter as Jenna and Sora laugh, or cackle, on the bed. Zach continues to slam his fist on the door.

"Zach, go find a rare oompaloompa for me, please?" Jenna requests. The door suddenly stills and he runs off.

"So the guys want to please their mates in any way possible," I add. Sora nods and sighs. There's a sudden knock at the door.

"Jordan, it's me, mom," mum speaks through the door. I open the door slightly while my friends look at me warily. I shrug and close the door behind me softly. She suddenly glares at me before starting to drag me through the back door. I twist my hand out of her grasp and stand still. What is she doing, leading me to the woods?

"What is it mum?" I sigh as I run my hand through my brown hair in frustration.

"Oh, naive little Jordan, I'm giving you to Alpha Hunter so we can get Tiffany back. Xavier can live without you, he may just take Tiffany as his new mate when we tell him that you died," mum smiles evily. I look at her as if she was crazy. She's my mum, why would she want to get rid of me? I stand there, frozen in a state of shock She grabs my wrist and starts dragging me through the woods again and we stop in a small clearing. Some people come out from the undergrowth. Jake, Luke, and the guy from the basement. Why are they here? They are wolves, but mum wouldn't put me in danger, would she? The guy from the basement suddenly pushes Tiffany up and she strolls to mum in a pair of pink high heels with her tube dress clinging to her as a second skin.

"What's going on?" I voice as mum shoves me towards the trio roughly. The basement guy pulls me towards him and holds a sweet smelling cloth against my nose and mouth. Chloroform. Chiz! I hold my breath and the guy growls in frustration. I feel a pinch on my neck and gasp in. Stupid! I am so stupid! The world starts to fade to a fuzzy haze and I watch as the two people that I called family walk away.

I AM INCREDIBLY SORRY! I had terrible writers block and couldn't figure out what I should do next. This is a shorter chapter, but it's better than nothing.

I have an announcment! (Don't break into song, Sora) My dad has said that if I get one of my books to have 1.5 million reads, we can get a dog! Please don't think of me as someone who's spoiled because of this deal. I have written report after report about wanting a pet and my parents have always denied one, so I really have to rely on you guys ( and girls) for this. Please spread the word to friends and followers if you can! I really hope the goal is met before July since we could just get one for my birthday... Please don't make me regret this deal, I literally love animals, and I don't use the word 'love' alot. (Again, Sora.) I am really depending on you people for this....
