The Vampire's Mate

Chapter 10

*** Jordan's POV  ***

I shoot up in bed as someone shakes me. I face Xavier whom looks worried.

"You better have a hell of a reason for waking me up," I groan as I rub my eyes. 

"Werewolves are attacking, go into the basement with the rest of the girls," he rushes as he swings open the door. He runs out and I can hear screaming everywhere. I jump up and rush out of the door. I look along the walls and follow the small arrows that lead to the basement. I rush through as a werewolf is thrown threw a wall and lands behind me. I run and stop in place as I hear crying. A little girl crying. I run the opposite way of the arrows and swing open a door. I see a wolf towering over the little blonde girl. She clings to her teddy bear as the wolf turns to face me. The wolf suddenly turns into a human and I scowl at the person I see.

"Jordan?" he asks. I shove past him and pick up the little girl who cries into my shirt.

"What the hell were you about to do, Jake!? Kill a little girl!" I hiss as I look at the bloody bodies around me.

"You're one of them now?" Jake mumbles to himself.

"Yes, now leave," I scowl.

"How the hell are you one of them? They can only turn their mates," he trails off.

"I found my mate," I groan. The little girl continues to cry as I stroke her blonde hair. I head away from them and use my speed to get into the basement. I don't want to deal with Jake. In case any of you were wondering, Jake is a friend. I soothe the little girl as she bawls into my shirt. It looks like I dove into a pool.

??? POV

I tear through the throng of vampires that are battling my men. Xavier made a big mistake by taking what is mine. The first attempt to get her back failed so I plan to get her myself. I growl as a blood sucker jumps in front of me, hissing with his fangs. I extend my claws as tear his throat out without a second thought. I march into the palace and pass some werewolves being throw threw walls. I push through the leeches and make my way to Jordan, my mate. The nerve that Xavier has to change her! I approach a room where her scent is strongest. The basement. I go to open the door and pull it back when my hand burns. Damn it! Silver. I take out my gloves. Always be prepared. I pull them on and open the door. I see a bunch of leeches. Most are women and some children. I snap my gaze from the terrified women to Jordan, who is cradling a blonde leech. She looks up and glares at me.

"Go away!" she hisses as she holds the little girl closer to herself. I growls lowly as I stalk towards her. She suddenly stands up and puts down the little girl. She takes a few steps as challenges me, looking me dead in the eye.

"You don't want to challenge me," I growls, warning her. She continues to look at me with a deadly gaze. 

"You don't want me to get all of them to kill you," she hisses, baring her fangs. Before anything can happen, I smirk down at her.

"I'll get you soon, one way or another," I growl before leaving and calling back my wolves. We jump away from the palace and disperse through the woods.

I will get you Jordan. Even if I have to kill someone to get to you.

That's a promise.

@@ Jordan's POV @@

I return to the sobbing girl after the wolf leaves. I don't like him. At all. The girl's sobs soften against my chest. He breathing evens out and I look down at her. She's asleep. I hum to myself as we all wait for someone to get us. I have missed so many days of school because of this drama. I'm going to have so much homework! The little girl stirs from next to me. She opens her giant green eyes. Seriously, they're the size of Oreos.

"I want mommy," she squeaks. The other people here all look at me, expecting me to do something. What the hell am I supposed to do?

"Mommy isn't going to be back for a long time," I sigh. She looks up at me with glassy eyes. I sigh as she cuddles into my side.

"When is mommy coming back?" she asks.

"Call me Jordan," I say, avoiding the question.

"When is mommy coming back?" she asks again. Dang it! She's a smart one. The door swings open and Xavier storms into the room. His eyes scan the crowds and he makes eye contact with me. He glances at the little girl by my side. He walks over to use and slides down the wall so he's now sitting next to me.

"I don't know," I answer her.

"Who's this?" Xavier asks, looking at the little girl.

"I'm Erin," the girl smiles shyly. What am I going to do?

!!! Sora's POV !!! ( when Kyou got knocked out)

I look at the giant wolf in front of me. Wow. I watch as vampire's are being knocked out around us. A good amount af wolves are laying unconcious as well. I peek down at the limp Kyou. He sort of deserved it. The wolf keep staring at me with wide blue eyes. He swiftly shifts and pulls me against him, hugging me. I stand there with my arms limp. Awkward.... Now is a good time for the katana, which is in the room right behind me.

"Hey, person, I'll be going back inside if you don't mind," I say, patting his back awkwardly. I glance as the other wolves start retreating into the cover of the woods. I try pulling away from the dude, but he just holds me tighter. Thank the devil that I can't die.

"No," he growls lowly. I give him the are-you-really-going-to-say-no-to-a-stranger look.

"Look, werewolf dude, you should leave before I kick your arse," I warn. I will do it.

"No you wouldn't, my little mate," he chuckles. Is he disregarding my threat? Wait, DID HE SAY MATE!? Before I can say, or more like scream, anything, He picks me up and heads towards the woods.

I had major writers block and SoraRose8822 decided to choke me at school for not updating. Seriously, I couldn't breath. Here is the update.... Threw in Sora's POV. I'll make the next chapter longer, pinky promise.
