The Vampire's Mate

Chapter 25

"What are you doing out of your cell?" Xavier hisses with his fangs out. I have to admit, it's kinda intimidating.

"I was having a civil conversation with Jordan," Seth replies calmly as he walks around the room. Xavier hisses.

"What were you two doing in a room alone?" he snarls, looking between the two of us. My eyes widen at what he was thinking about. Just like your father. I shake the thought and feel my anger rise.

"NO FUDGING WAY!" I defend as I glare at Xavier for even thinking that. He turns to me and gives me a look of surprise.

"How dare you think I would go fooling around with someone when I know I have a mate," I snap.

"What's going on?" Jenna asks as she enters the room. I grab her hand and pull her out of the room, slamming the door behind me. Sure, it's childish, but I am pissed, I have the right to slam the door.

"We're leaving, help me find everyone," I grumble as I find Sora in the kitchen. In the fridge. Eating. I pull her out as she stuffs a slice of cake into her mouth. I must say, she looks like a chipmunk.

"We're leaving," I mutter as I pull her out.

"Bwt my cwke," she groans.

"I'll get you some later," I respond. I go down the hall and find May and Lucy in the closet, I pull them out and they blindly follow me. Now to find Eliza... I walk into the living room and look behind the couch and lift up Eliza.

"How-what?" she stutters.

"Jordan!" I hear a voice call from behind.

"What happened?" Sora asks as soon as she swallows the remainder of her cake.

"He suspected me of going behind his back," I mutter. Sora stops and twists around.

"I'm going to kick his arse!" she growls. A large katana appears in her hand and she dashes towards the room that I last saw the two vampire's in. I go wide eyed and follow after.

"Oooohh, some action," Lucy chuckles as she follows with May. Eliza looks around and awkwardly sits on the couch.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Sora screams as she tackles Xavier. She starts punching him and kicking him everywhere.

"What the hell is going on?" Zach asks as he enters the hallway.

"No time to explain, but Sora will murder him if she has enough time," Jenna sputters. Zach groans and tries prying Sora off of Xavier, earning him an elbow to the gut. He gets up and groans.

"On the one day that the guards are gone," Zach mutters to himself. There's a flash of light and Sora is shot off of Xavier and held to the wall. 

"For heavens sake, can I ever get some rest?" Hera mutters as she lifts her eye mask groggily.

"Oh, Sora, Jenna, Jordan, May, Lucy," she nods in acknowledgement. She flattens out her night gown and fixes the bun that her brown hair is contained in.

"Let me kill him, please let me kill him," Sora hisses as her black wings fan out against the wall.

"What has happened now? And hush child, I've just woken up and have a head ache," Hera reprimands.

"He accused Jordan of cheating on him!" Jenna hisses. She instantly pounces on him and she's flung against the wall before she could get a punch in. 

"Does anyone else want to attack him?" Hera asks expectantly.

"Can I get one shot?" I ask timidly. 

"Well he's your mate, so sure," Hera shurgs. I walk to Xavier as he gets up with bruises everywhere and a split lip. I give him a cruel smile before kneeing him in the crotch.

"Ooooo," Zach hisses as he covers his man parts. Xavier cripples to the ground in pain as I scowl at him.

"That's right, so remember never to get me mad," Jenna warns as she struggles against the wall.

"What has happened now?" Hera asks as she lifts Xavier up off the floor and makes him stand. That's awesome.

"Nothing. Nothing happened, Xavier jumped to conclusions and that brought up some things for me," I mumble.

"Well you two will have to work this out, after all you have to finish mating within the next week," Hera shrugs. My eyes widen.

"WHAT!?" I yelp in an extremely quiet tone.

"Oh! I guess I wasn't supposed to let that slip," Hera mutters," well you two will be handcuffed until you make up," she says loudly with a snap of her fingers. I'm suddenly right next to Xavier and my wrist is attached to his.

"WHAT! No! I don't want to be stuck with him for more than five minutes," I hiss as I tug my wrist.

"I wouldn't try for too long, you won't be able to break it since it's vampire proof," Hera says as she examines her nails.

"Can you release us now?" Sora asks as she stops fighting. 

"Sure," Hera answers. With that, Sora and Jenna both fall to the ground in a heap. With that, a flash takes Hera away and leaves us all in the hallway. Awkward silence.

"So... Jordan and I will be talking in our room if you don't mind," Xavier states as he drags me down the hall and to the room. He closes the door behind us and locks it. He sits on the bed and I stumble over my feet as I join him.

"You know you can't drag me around like that all the time," I mutter. Xavier lays down and tugs at the handcuff, making me lay on top of him. I can feel my cheeks exploding. 

"Why not?" he mumbles. With that, he kisses me. Not a sweet peck, but a full on kiss. Soon enough, his hand is on my waist and I'm weaving my hand through his hair. His hair is soft. Really soft.

"What's taking you so long- HOLY SHIT I DON'T WANT TO BE A GODMOTHER YET!" Sora screams as she enters the room and then slams the door. I pull away from Xavier and laugh, rolling to the side so I'm off of him and on the bed. I turn to face Xavier and he turns to face me.

"I'm sorry," he apologizes as he places a kiss on my forehead.

"You're lucky that I forgive people easily," I mutter with a smile. Everything's okay.

A/N

I'm not dead! I'm sorry for not updating for so long. School starts on Monday and I'm really excited about it.
