Believe

Do you believe in God?

There are two ways to take this question. One is, do you believe that there is a God and that he really exists? And two, do you believe in God, that he can do anything and answer every prayer you have?

These are very different but both very important. First, we need to believe that God really does exist and that he is NOT dead. Oh, he is surely alive! So many people will argue with you that God does not and never did exist, but they will never know just how wrong they are because our God is still alive and on the throne! He was and is and is to come! (I will have more to come on this subject with verses from the Bible and stuffs to help you prove your case. And mine!) But... we have to believe in God to believe in God!

We need to believe that God can do anything and everything because guess what? HE CAN! He can give you everything that you need to live a Godly life and he will if you pray to him about it. But when you pray, you cannot (let me repeat that) YOU CANNOT have any doubt in you. You have to put all our your faith and trust in him. You have to believe that he can do it and that he will be there for you always. We can pray every single day that God will help us do something but if every time we do it without trusting him fully, then all of the time we spent praying was completely wasted. How would you feel if someone told you every day that you were amazing and that you could do that big solo, or you could ace that history test or whatever it is, but every time they said it, they didn't really believe in you. If you knew that they didn't really think you could do it, how would that make you feel? Just awful, right? Well, now you see how God feels when we don't believe in him.

Please have faith in God, and trust me I'm talking to myself too when I say this because I doubt God just as often as everybody else. Believe that he can bring your family back together. Believe that he can pull you out of debt. Believe that he can stop your addiction. Believe that he can help you on that big test. Believe that he will always be with you no matter what. Believe that he is alive and still working everything for your good.

Believe in God.

I am so excited about God's Not Dead 2!!! I hopefully get to go see it with my epic boyfriend this week and I can't wait! I have watched the trailer a thousand times and it's so amazing! I definitely recommend watching it!! And if you haven't seen the first one... Just go watch it is all I can say.
Another movie that you should really watch if you haven't already is Do You Believe? We watched is at my church and it is such powerful movie. You will definitely get a lot from it!
