Dear Future Husband

I haven't done a challenge for you in a while, but earlier I found the perfect one! So here it is...

I would like for you to write a letter to your future spouse, including all of the things you would like him/her to know about you - what you like, some of your habits, what God has done for you, what you want in a relationship, some of your personal goals and interests...

I know this seems kinds of strange but God has a reason for it or else he wouldn't have brought me to say this.

Here is mine:

Dear Future Husband,

I am writing to you because I want you to get to know me... the real me.

I am not perfect; I am quite the opposite, actually. I mess up a lot and say sorry for everything. I like to stay organized. I love doing laundry, so I guess that won't be a problem in our household! I like cats more than dogs. I really don't like being alone, and I despise being cold. I like to move, and I like to move fairly often, but other than that I'm not really a person for change. I am not a very good cook now, but I promise that I will try to be better by the time we get married. I've never planned on having Prince Charming, only the man that is right for me, and I pray that is who you are. I've always wanted more boys than girls as our children and no more than five, but I will gladly accept whatever God has in mind for us.

Everyday I am learning and striving to be more like Jesus and I'm nowhere near him yet. I am still a work in progress, but I know I will get there with the help of our God. All of my actions, thoughts, and words are pulled by my beliefs, which I have placed in the Bible. God's word is my anchor, and I hope that it will be yours too.

Whatever you choose, I will support you 100% if God assures me that it is right. We will not always see eye to eye, and I will not always understand your ways of thinking, but I will always be by your side, just as Christ is always by mine. I cannot wait to live my life walking by your side, as God has called me to do.

I know that you are human and make many mistakes just as I will too, but I will always love you anyways, just as I expect you to do for me.

Know that I am praying for you every day,

BPL

Okay, now I want you to write a prayer to God about your future spouse and attach it to your letter. You can choose to keep these until you're married like I plan to do, or you don't have to keep them, as long as you store them in your heart until the special day comes when you finally get to say I do.

~

I don't exactly know the purpose for this, but God has a reason, I know. Thank you and I hope that you actually did this with me! Thank you so much for reading! God bless you!
