How many of you believe that you were made for a reason and that you have a purpose in this life? Well right you are! God created everyone for a reason and he made you in a way to meet that purpose.

Jeremiah 29:11
""For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, but plans to give you a hope and a future.""

God prescribed every tiny detail of your body before you were even born. He left no detail to chance. He deliberately chose your race, your hair, the color of your skin, your eyes, and every other feature.

Isaiah 44:2
"I am your creator. You were in my care even before you were born."

Psalm 139:15
"You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb."

God even determined exactly where you would live, how and where you would move. Just think about how different your life would be if you didn't live where you live now. There is a purpose for everything, even something as simple as where you live.

Acts 17:26
"From one man, He created all the nations throughout all the earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and He determined their boundaries."

And maybe most important of all, God decided how you would be born and to whom you would be born. Regardless of the circumstances of your birth or who your parents are, God had a plan and a reason for every bit of it. It doesn't matter if your parents are good parents, bad parents, or just somewhere in between. God knew those two people had exactly the right genetic makeup to create the custom you he had in mind.

Not only did he find the right people for your genetic makeup, he found the ones who he knew would raise you the way you needed to be. It may not have been a very good way to grow up...your parents may have beat on you or left you or just didn't help you at all or maybe you're adopted. I know this may be hard to understand, but you would not be the person God wants you to be without them and the way you were raised. Whether they raised you right or not, there's a reason why God decided to have them be your parents. So respect your parents. (Ephesians 6:1-3) I know it is sometimes hard to do, especially during these independent teenage years, but try your best. In respecting your parents, you are also respecting God, because he is the one who gave them to you.

Remember, YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT! You were created for a purpose and everything that has happened to you was for a reason! God created you. God knows you. He has had a plan for you from the very beginning!

God bless you! Have a wonderful day!
Today is the National Day of Prayer!!! I know it's kind of late, but right now I want you to think of one specific thing that you really need prayed for right now. Then, pray! You can share them with me if you'd like and I will gladly pray for it. If you don't need anything prayed about at the moment then just talk to God and thank him for that and how wonderful he is! God bless! Pray on!
