Okay so this part kind of goes along with another part (In Jesus' Name) so if you haven't already, please read that chapter first.

In the first part of this we discussed the importance of saying "In Jesus' Name, amen" at the end of our prayers. Well, now we're going to add a bit more that I learned from my step dad to that.

If you just say "Amen" at the end of your prayers then how do we know who you are praying to? You could be praying to any other "God" and we would never know. You know who you're praying to, but you should make it known to everyone else around you. This also is kind of like an advertisement for Jesus... If that makes any sense... You should always say who you're praying to, but especially when you're praying in public where there may be people who aren't Christians. Doing this tells them who you are and what you stand for. You stand for God! Jesus! So make them know that! And then when your prayers are answered, they know where the answer came from.

Show them who you are for and not only will your prayer be answered (in God's way and time, of course), but you're showing others who is in charge of your life. It shows who you've given your life to. Trust me, it makes ALL the difference.
