Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I just wanted to let you know that I am about to start another book called A Scripture A Day Keeps The Devil Away. It is just going to be a book of Bible verses and a little explanation or comment about each verse. I hope that you will read it and enjoy it! Please share it with other people! Thanks!
I can't just make a part and then not have a lesson with it! So here we go (it'll be short)!
Reading the Bible helps you defend yourself against the temptations that the Devil throws your way. It helps us know what to say when God gives us the chance to witness to someone and when someone asks us a question about God. We don't need to just stand there, unable to answer, or just take out our iPhone. That's not a very good way to show that you are a devoted Christian! It makes you seem more put together and like you know what you're talking about, which you should know what you're talking about anyways!
It also helps us be able to give assurance and comfort from God to others, and ourselves, whenever we need it, if we don't have a Bible at hand, and we get to know God better for who he is and to understand his will for your life a little better.
Read your Bible. Study it. Talk about it. Understand it. Meditate on it.
Know your Bible. Know God.
