Rubber bands have to be stretched to be useful, but who's stretching you? God or Satan?
Is God taking you out of your comfort zone to do great things for the glory of his kingdom, or is Satan the one pressuring you to do sinful things for him?
When Satan makes you feel bad by saying "Look at your sin!" God says "Look at my son!"
The devil will try to convince you that you aren't good enough for God, how hard it would be to try and be perfect for God and how easy it is to just stick with your sins, but God will remind you that no one is perfect and we are to be like Jesus Christ and resist the devil. When we resist the devil with our faith put in God, he will leave us alone.
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." -James 4:7
