If I was given the opportunity to climb mount Everest at this moment in time. I would in a heartbeat.
I wanted to run. To go gym and to do something wild. The rush came on and all I wanted to do was something energetic. I started to do push ups. It was a silent roar boiling inside me, a powerful feeling I just wanted to last forever.
Yes I took the rum and coke and it was bloody amazing. Gaz was feeling the pump as well and looked really high. I went outside and the barbecue was on. Allen Winter was cooking crispy chicken wings.
" Winter the winner, whats cracking mate" I said as he looked at me he started to laugh.
"I never would have expected this Jay. Never in a hundred years" Allen said as he continued to cook the chickens.
Flipping them over. Char grilled, they looked so tender and juicy. Lun came out while Tubb was filming with a small go pro.
"Holy shit!" Lun said as he came over to me.
"Jay, just remember one thing man. One thing only" Lun said as he ripped off all his clothes, he was completely and utterly naked.
Lun screamed "FREEDOM!!" and ran back inside the house.
It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Everyone in the house, weather they saw it or heard it erupted into a massive thunder of laughter.
"Kicked in hard" Allen said as I couldn't control my laughter.
What the hell did he take? Lun must of still be taking the break up pretty hard. He had looked down all week and it was something that only time would heal. I looked over at Tubb who was still laughing.
"What the fuck was that" I said
"Welcome to Angelsea my friend. Welcome" Tubb said as he walked back inside.
I stayed with Allen for a bit while he was cooking the chicken wings.
"You know Jay I never would of thought I would be kicking it with you." Allen said.
It was true. While we had known each other since school we had never been really close. It's like we always saw each other from a different angle and never got to know the other person.
"Jay I don't mean that in a bad way."
"You're a good mate Allen, always been good to me." I said.
It's true though. Allen was a good kid at heart.
