Everyone was sitting around a table. We had just stopped for lunch on our way to Angelsea. The place was called the Mighty burger, one of Melbourne's best burger joints.
I was still feeling light headed after last night. I don't remember much of what happened after I smoked that bong. It's strange at how much detail I remember about my dream in comparison to last night.
It was hard looking at David Lun the same way after that.
Gaz had not stopped talking after he finished his burger. He was in a very good mood laughing at last night's shenanigans.
"And then he smoked another bong. Like it was nothing." Gaz said as he taped me on the back
"I love this guy" Gaz continued as he patted me on the back.
"I don't do drugs" Lun mimicked in my voice tone from last night and everyone laughed.
"You don't remember anything do you?" Gaz said
I looked at everyone. Each person looked like they had a different story to tell of me.
"No, I don't remember anything. I don't even know how I ended up in my bed" I said not looking proud.
"Do you remember giving shit to King George?" Gaz said. This was followed by Lun
"Or beating Allen winter at cards?" then followed by Tubb
"You were the funniest guy last night. You kept talking to me about stabbing some 'cunt' in the eye if they don't listen to you. You had this big elaborate plan on how to stab him with a pen." Tubb said as he started to laugh.
I seriously do not remember doing any of this.
"Did I really beat Allen winter at cards" I said.
This was no easy feat. It was no joke that Allen had the most luck out of everyone when it came to any type of card game.
"Yeah you won 5/0." Allen said looking upset at admitting his loss.
"You turned into someone eles, Jay" Tubb said.
I looked at him with a face that looked so surprised like a baby who learned to walk.
