I sat immobilized on a hospital bed. My brain was functioning but my body was that of a vegetable. It hurt to think and that's all I could do. Think of it as a sharp pain akin to that of a headache but ten times stronger. Or just think of a needle that is scraping the nerves of the brain. I had been lobotomised and was in some Angelsea Asylum for the mentally insane.
Back in this crazy world. I tried to move my body but it did not work. I was stuck in this position. I heard a small voice. It sounded strange. It had an English accent. I rolled my eyes to the side and saw the fishbowl that Lara had brought in before.
The Fish, it was talking to me in an English accent.
"Is this place a curse?" The goldfish said with an English accent.
"Or is this place a sanctuary?" The Goldfish continued.
This was the peak of what I was able to take. This was the epitome of madness. I now accept I have lost the plot all together.
"Is this the simulation or is reality the simulation" The Goldfish said as I sat in disbelief.
"I say Jay you have changed a lot. You're a completely different person now" The Goldfish said.
I could not communicate.
"Think about it. You're much stronger now. Do you want to know a secret" The goldfish said with the English accent.
It actually sounded very sophisticated for a goldfish.
"Your nuts" The goldfish said as he swam around in the fish bowl doing back flips.
"I'll try and help you out Jay, for being nuts so listen up take my advice" The goldfish said as his tone changed.
"I say before you three prophecies.
1. Be wary of the one who goes by a false name
2. You will find happiness in your reflection at the hour past 12
3. She is a lot smarter than you think."
The goldfish then stopped talking and actually looked like a regular Goldfish again. At that moment Lun and Lara walked through the door. Or in this reality Dr. David Lundis and Dr. Lara Booker. They each wore matching lab coats with a note pad.
"It seems we were finally successful this time" David Luntis said.
"It took us long enough. I thought he was gone for sure last time with that bright light" Lara said as she prepared some coffee.
"We are dealing with a nut case after all. Success rates are extremely low" David Lundis said.
I was unable to talk and immobilized. I was angry and the more I used my brain to think the sharper the pain to my head was. It became unbearable. Then I heard big footsteps coming. The man came in with a lab mask and then removed it.
