I opened the door to our room as silently as possible, but not silently enough.
"Where have you been? I have been ill with worry, and almost went to look for you," exclaimed Kade.
I explained that I had merely gone for some testing; then reassured him that everything was alright. He asked what tests I had gone for, and I told him-age tests.
"According to these documents, I have the physical and mental state of an eighteen year old. I am still me, and know all of the same stuff I knew before. Basically, I have finished growing."
All he did was grin. He was grinning like the mad hatter from Alice in Wonderland.
"I know what this means. Will you, Zoe Amanda Jase, let me, Kayden Vasquez, have your hand in marriage; now and forever," he asked
Stood in shock, I remembered how he had proposed only a month ago. I said yes. Putting his arms around me waist, he hugged me tight.
Planning wasn't actually a nightmare. The guest were to be our pack, the neighboring pack, as well as a few other wolves. Marne would bake the cake, Maci and Tia would cook, and Cece would help me set up. It was settled. I was not to have a bridesmaid of honour, and Kade would not have a best man. It was as easy as 1, 2, 3; except, maybe where Cali is going to fit into the game plan...
