The way the woman I called my mother looked at me made me feel like I was a criminal convicted of a crime against werewolf-kind.
"Zoe Amanda Jase, you are in so much trouble young lady," my mum screamed at me.
I peered into her eyes, and saw the jet black iris. She yanked me away from Kayden, whose eyes had become even darker black than my mums.He stood. Kayden pulled me back to him and growled. My mother glared at him.
"Who is this Zoe; some boy that isn't your mate? I thought you were better than this," whispered mum in my ear.
Her words made my blood boil, and I lashed out at her.
I grabbed her arm and flipped her over. She stood up, and punched my stomach. Someone called for the Luna and the Alpha, but I was too focused to notice who did.
"He's my mate mum, what the heck is wrong with you," I screamed.
"Well I want you to reject him, he will end up hurting you," she shouted in response.
Grabbing my hair, she dragged me outside and threw me to the ground. She shifted into her light red wolf and lunged at me. The Luna rushed forward and dove in front of me just as my mother moved to bite down on my throat.
