"Hon, I'm going to tell you a very important story, one that will help you when you get older," my mom started.

  But she never got to finish. Work was calling her away and I didn't know how to ask to hear the story. So I never asked.

  Kade looked at me with concern. I felt him take my hand. I glanced over at Keith, and his face held realisation, as well as thought. 

"Have you ever heard the prophecy Zoe," Keith asked me carefully. 

"I have actually read the prophecy, if that is what you mean. The thing is, it never mentions a young Luna so it can not be me, right," I replied hesitantly.  

  Kade grabbed my hand and walked me into his study. From one of the bookshelves he took down a book. After flipping for about thirty seconds, Kade started reading aloud.

  This girl shall be the youngest of any Luna she knows, as well as the pride to her pack. She will lead a battle with her mate along side. Despite best efforts, the last battle shall be fought by her, and by her alone. Her wolf will never need to surface. Her and her wolf have been one since birth. All talents have been hidden by her mother, and many more shall be discovered. Zoe shall bear a child. That child will not be like others. They will run and be one with the pack a few short years after birth. And the power that the child has, will be unstoppable.

  That was never in the prophecy I had read. My mother. She tore out the rest of the prophecy, that same prophecy said she'd do that!

 I spoke aloud,

"There is no way, on this little green earth, that I am having anyone's kid. Not now anyway. All long, long time in the future. MAYBE."

  Keith laughed, and Kade just looked pissed off. I walked over to him, and put my hands on his shoulders. Kade's face hardened as he spoke. 

"There is no way to stop a prophecy, so you are going to have a kid whether you like it, or love it."

  My eyebrows shot up at his words. Keith started howling with laughter. I walked out, cooling down as I walked out of the study.

  I stalked into the kitchen. Cali and a few other pack women were there. Cali greeted me and introduced us. 

" Zoe, I would like to introduce you to a few ladies."

  Cece, Marne, Tia and Maci (Macy) were all pack moms. They showed the most respect and were so kind. I told them to call me Zoe, because, "Luna gets old." At this, they laughed and I joined in. We had an amazing time This was time worth while.
