I just got married! It is crazy to think that two months ago I met the man I am staring at. After we broke from our kiss at the altar we stared into each other's eyes (for what seems like forever). Then, I looked out at the all of the people, and felt relief. Kade took my hand, and I picked up my dress. We ran down the aisle, and I finally felt free.
I ran upstairs, and unhooked the tulle from my dress, which left me in a dress slightly narrower than an A-line. I tried, and failed, to walk down the stairs gracefully. As I arrive at the foot of the stairs, I noticed the festivities had already begun. Small children playing, teens talking animatedly with their hands, and adults grinning from ear to ear as they see me. I smile, and walked over to Cali. She hugged me as tightly as she can (do not forget she is pregnant) . Tina, Cece and Marne do the same. At the next moment, I could sense a pair of arms that hovered over my waist. I spun around; Kade was standing there, looking more and more handsome by the second. He took my hand, and led me onto the dance floor.
"You know, I never thought this would happen. I always believed I would be alone, doomed to solitude forever. That is only a small reason why I love you," whispered Kade lovingly in my ear.
We danced on.
"I thought that I would get married much later in life, maybe twenty to twenty-five, but I am happy I did not," I whisper back.
Laughing, Kade twirled me, and the dance ended. Everyone claps, and then in a blur, I was whisked upstairs. Cali and Cece were fawning over me.
"Zoe dear, you are going to adore your honeymoon. It's secluded, and quite, perfect for evening strolls" announced Marne.
Cali looked over at me, and smiled knowingly. All I could do was look down. I may look eighteen (I really do not look too different), but I happen to be only fifteen. Then again, I was married, so... While I was pondering this, the ladies managed to wiggle me into a beautiful navy dress, and an adorable fedora. It was time to go.
Bags were in the boot, and Kade was leaned on the car. I threw my bouquet and heard excited screams. I got into the passenger's side. I waved until my hand hurt, then sat straight and looked forward. Kade grabbed my hand. Upon arrival, I saw Marne was right. There was a narrow passageway, a small cottage, and not much else. Kade too the bags in one hand, and my hand in the other; we walked through the front door.
It was well decorated. Obviously meant for a weekend getaway. Kade and I walked up the stairs. Setting down our bags, we walked into the master; there was one thing for sure, it was defiantly huge. There was a California king bed, and an en suite bathroom. I sat on the bed, and Kade walked over to me. Shall we say one thing lead to another, which lead to another, and so forth...
So... How was that? I don't do "the scene". Above is the dress Zoe wore for leaving for the honeymoon. Hope you enjoyed!
