I could not believe my eyes. She stood in front of me; my best friend. We often spoke to each other over the phone, but it had been four months since I had last seen her. All this time I never realised how much I missed her. As she approached me, I could not stop from smiling. I hugged her so tight, and I do not like hugs. Kira seemed taken aback, she knew I did not hug.
"Luna, who might this be," asked Cali
I turned to her and began to speak.
"This is my longtime friend. Cali Andrson, meet Kira Massi-Fen. I hope you two can become friends."
They shook hands and laughed. I guided everyone over to the supper table. As food was being served and eaten, I motioned for Kade to stand up as I did.
"I have news, but I will let my husband go first," I said.
"This came as a shock to us, and I sincerely hope that you are as thrilled as I was, and still am," stated Kade with an undertone of excitement.
He took my hand.
"As several of you know, I have been feeling ill. We went to the doctor and received the results. I am pregnant," I finished as calmly as possible.
The pack the proceeded to go into complete and utter chaos. Cali and Kira hugged me and many people came to congratulate Kade and I. This is the start of a family, and a true future.
