I said as I started walking. "Maka I'll be right back, I'm going to walk (NN) home." Soul yelled behind me as he closed the door.

(3rd POV)

you and Soul were walking down the street towards the basketball court when he grabbed your arm making you stop to turn and look at him, "What's up Soul?" "Didn't you say you had to go to the story?" "Yeeeah." "Well the store is that way." Soul said pointing down a street to your left. "Oh, well I guess we better go down this street then." You said slowly walking down the road. "Hey, Soul." "Yeah." "I was wondering why you decided to come to the DWMA, I mean wouldn't it be easier to just play like the rest of your family?" You asked looking at him from the corner of your eye noticing he was doing the same thing. "Well as you most likely know I have an older brother named Wes right?" "Yeah I met him a couple times when your parents came over to my place, he seemed nice, but I didn't really get along with him, maybe it's because I was so young." "Yeah, well I always felt pressured to be great like him, but I could never play as good as he could, so when I found out I had weapon blood I decided to take that chance to get out of that house, and give up playing." Soul said as he looked up at the bleeding moon. "Oh, well I never had an older sibling or younger for that matter, but I think that's for the best." You said locking your hands behind your head as you did the same as Soul. "Yeah, but (YN), what are you going to do if you meat the demon sword again?" Soul asked making you stop in your tracks. "I. I'm going to kill him." you said as you looked at your shoes. "Yeah, expected you would say that, but you saw how strong he is back in Italy (YN), are you sure you can beat him by yourself?" Soul asked looking at you over his shoulder, "I have to try, and if I loose I'll die tr-. "Like hell you will!, You aren't supposed to go and get yourself killed because, of a grudge (YN)! You have friends that will stand beside you and fight too!" Soul yelled at you fully facing you now, "I'll fight with you when the time comes (YN)." Soul said as he hugged you.

(Your POV)

Once Soul hugged me I felt wetness streaming down my face, I lifted my hand to wipe it away, 'tears? I'm crying?' I thought as Soul was about to let me go, but I quickly wrapped my arms around him so he couldn't see my face.

(Souls POV)

As I was hugging (YN) I my shoulder started feeling wet, 'is she, crying?' I thought as I tried pulling back but she wrapped her arms around my waste before I could get a look at her face. 'Damn it (YN), you don't know how much I care about you." I thought as I felt her body go stiff "What?" I heard her say 'shit did I say that out loud?'

(Your POV)

"Umm,I have to go." I said as I backed away out of the hug looking at the ground so Soul couldn't see how redmy face was, 'did he really just say that?' I thought as I turned around "i'll see you at school tomorrow!" I said running towards my house. "What the hell just happened?' I thought as i slowed down to a walking pace. 'Hello, (YN)." I heard someone say from a near by alley, I quickly turned toward the sound of the voice turning my arm into a blade, "who's there!?" I said trying to see into the darkness. "Oh (YN) put that thing away, you don't need it." The person said as they walked out into the street lights. "Nurse Medusa, what are you doing out here?" I asked as I lowered my arm turning it back to normal, "Oh I was just on my way home when I heard someone running my way, so I hid in the alleyway there, but then I saw it was only you, so what are you doing out at this hour ms.(LN)?" "Well I was over at Maka and Souls place I'm just heading home." I said as I pointed in the direction of my place. "Alone?" "Umm yeah, Soul was going to walk me home but he had to go somewhere else." I lied, 'You should have had him come with you." "What are y-" "Crona grab her" Medusa said as a figure came out of the alley behind her. 'No way, not him, not now' I thought as I saw who it was, the demon sword came rushing at me "SOUL!" I screamed before everything went dark.

(Souls POV)
After (YN) ran away I could only stand there thinking how much of an idiot I was. Slowly I walked over to a near by bench and as I sat down I looked up at the bloody moon, slowly reaching upi turned my arm into a blade to look at the designs that show how I'm like on the inside. ' dark and a little rough around the edges', and soon my thoughts traveled to today's events at the training ground, how (YN) fought, how she held her stance, how her eyes sparkled as she fought, she looked beau-'"SOUL!" I heard my name being called making me jump from my spot and run in the direction I heard it, '(YN) better be okay of I'm going to-' my thoughts stopped when I saw (YN) incontinence being picked up by the demon sword as Nurse Medusa watched with a sadistic smile on her face, she slowly looked over at me and mouthed some words. As I ran towards the demon bastard something appeared underneath me I. The shape of an arrow sending me flying towards the wall to my left nocking me uncontinence.
