The mysterious king

Leia's POV:

I walked with slow pace down the cold marble stone corridors of the resistance building. Today I have lots of work to finish. Our allies are waiting for my response to their questions and I have been delaying it for the past week, because of the other political problems I had then.

All of our previous meetings and councils were fine. We are at peace, and we intend to keep it this way. Few other galaxies joined us and now our forces are stronger with more neighboring planets, with more welcoming friends.

Our group meetings are being held everywhere. From our galaxy to the others, but most of them are the places I already know or have heard about like: Atollon, Endor , Naboo the planet my mother once lived and shortly ruled, Shili, Takodana and many more.

Everything there goes well, except with one kingdom that is in a galaxy very far away from ours. Every time we have a council it is like a chess game, a boring one. We are on one side, they are on the other. We attack with one argument, they with another. But most importantly they always protect their king.

I never even met him. He is never there, he always sends people to do his jobs for him. All of the argues all of the yelling is done by his advisors, who never even mention his name. For them he is always "the king".

Something smelled fishy about all that. That is the reason I sent my advisers and pilots to search him a little, just to find more information about him. And they came back with compelling news.

Poe and Finn came secretly to visit me in my house, and they told me that he is not on good terms with us, he is not merry with our decisions and the fact that we get more allies each day. It disturbs him. Many of them see that he is not behaving well and they leave him. He started losing money and his finances just went down. I offered him later to join us and become our ally, but he refused. So he started building a bigger army, a lot bigger than the Sith, and now he just waits for our mistake. My pilots said that is a top secret even on his own planet that he rules, his citizens do not know what is going on there.

That is all fine information, but I still don't know who is the king. Who is the man that rules. Who is the man that is so much against us, what did we do wrong? I believe he in only waiting for an opportunity to attack all of us and win all the galaxies for himself. When something is not clear why it happens the reason is always money and power, always.

So, that is why my first instinct was to inform my brother, who later will inform Ben and Rey. They must know what is happening. They must be ready if I have need of their advice or help.

I secretly held a meeting with few of my best friends, that are rulers of their own planets and they told me that they will keep an eye on him, and when they find out something they will inform me immediately. At least that is settled.

But the thing that irritates me the most is the knowledge that I don't know anything about him. Every king always shows himself in front of everyone, he makes public speeches, meetings, even balls and parties. But he, no, he does nothing. He stays back hidden in the shadows and corridors in his palace. Everyone I asked said that they never saw him, even his own people don't know much about him, except of what they are told. He is a mystery, for me, for his people, for all of us, and it makes me nervous.

The only thing I am sure, is that I must find out. There is no way I will leave this pass like this, he is dangerous, mischievous and obviously evil. What is he doing, is he a trickster, is he playing sinister games with us and laughing in the background, what is his problem?

I must know and that is final...
