Arriving at Amerath

Rey's POV:

We got inside the Millennium Falcon, prepared for the long waited conversation with my biological father.

Ben and I gathered few workers from our team plus Finn and Poe. That's it. I assume that this way is better, the less people we have on our ship, the less odd it would be.

If we went with larger crew, the emperor would think that we want an invasion of the planet or the city. And that is what I call a bad idea.

The moment I entered inside I felt the familiar smell of the area. My nose strings activated instantly, to absorb as much as possible of the old goodness, the welcoming metal and leather mist.

I closed my eyes. You are my only chance Falcon, you are the ship I trust the most.

"It's time." Said Finn in gentle and slightly hushed tone. He knows the importance of this action, and that's why he thinks first before spilling the words out.

"Aren't we taking Chewie too?" Commented Ben from behind, his facial features both expressing worry and confusion.

"No, not this time. Leia wishes to stay with him. He promised to protect the general with his life. There is another buddy that will keep us company." Poe added, cheerfully. My husband and I glanced to each other, our brows raised in confusion.

"Wait, what?"I spat, but my question was soon answered with an even more familiar sound...rather beep.

"BB-8...aw." I turned towards the impossibly cute ball that is rolling on the ground. I knelt on my knees and embraced the small android, feeling his mechanics work, like there is a small heart pumping inside.

"I missed you honey. I haven't seen you for weeks." He beeped again, sadly. His small head turned towards the ground. I missed you too. It said. Then it beeped few more times. Tears begin forming in my eyes at its words.

I will help you return my friend with all the powers my body has. Dorothylla is the best friend a robot can ever have. I miss playing with her in the beautiful villa and the colorful garden, I miss bubbling with her about interesting facts about the planets and the wildlife, I miss her witty brain...I miss her.

Few warm salty tear drops ran down my rose cheeks, but I had to stop them and build strength. I had to be bold enough and carry with this mission till the very end, for the good of my family. I signed and pet the supposed cheek of the android's head.

"I promise you that together we will return her home, we will return them both. Nothing will stop me to take her
from the hands of the evil king..." I was cut by Finn, who was standing just next to me.

"Who, is your father...You are a messed up family..." He shut up when he glanced at Ben who was staring daggers at him.

"Between my daughter and my biological father, I willingly choose her, she is my greatest miracle and greatest treasure. Start the engines, we have a long journey ahead of us." Ben stepped next to me and bent to kiss my cheek, smiling.

"Ay,ay captain..." He mumbled in my left ear.

"We are here! Call everyone! We will land in two short minutes." Poe yelled to wake us all up. The trip was long, and soon the whole crew fell asleep.

We parked the ship in the middle of large woods that looked clean of population. No one must see us coming, no one. The hardest part of the whole expedition is to reach the castle undercover. That's why we even took this strange Amerath clothing, that looks ancient, completely different than the current fashion. Hm, everything here screams kingdom.

We dressed up and went out. The plan was to act as normal as possible, and if someone asks what were we doing in the forest, the answer would be searching for healing plants. BB-8 was right next to us, walking the long distance towards the middle of the city. I don't know, but the air smelled different, it was a feeling, like a sixth sense that told me that something here is not right.

"Is it just me, or the city is totally empty, like there isn't a living being here." Argon the pilot uttered.

"You are expressing precisely my thoughts." Ben replied back, and we all nodded.

"No wonder, they are all in the castle's grounds." Finn spoke, showing with his hand towards the massive building. We all ran as fast as we can inside, entering between the mass of people, who were staring at the main balcony. I looked up there just to see the king...and...my daughter.

"Dear citizens, today is the day I show you officially the princess of Amerath, Dorothylla The I. My loving granddaughter."

I just think my heart stopped beating...

Guys, I owe you a huge, huge apology for my lack of updates. I understand if you are mad at me, but believe me I have a project that I was constantly working on, speak of relaxing summer.

From today on, you will get an update every day. Is that a good enough sorry for forgiveness?
