Seeking forgiveness

Dorothylla's POV:

I was brought to the cell again, few days ago after the argument with my new grandfather. Yup, it's strange to call him that way. Luke on the other hand was already woken up when I entered and he didn't look towards me. He obviously knew what was happening.

We didn't speak that day, or the day after, even the day afterwards, but I guess it is time to start today. This is taking too much of my time and I want answers, I can't let him ignore me, not anymore. I stepped out of my bed, stretching my legs a bit, so they don't feel so numb after sleeping. My hair is a mess, all my raven locks are going to deferent places, but I don't care, I assume my face is not better at all.

My eyes then glanced at my grand-uncle. His body is once again on the ground, his back leaning on the white wall, his eyes closed. I feel like I haven't seen those ocean blue iris for so long time, and I have to, I need to feel his father like warmness.

I tiptoed noiselessly on the floor, creeping towards him. His body seems motionless, his muscles stiff. He is using the force to meditate and heal his still visible wounds, even though they heeled quite quickly.

Just as I was inches away from him, he opened his wide eyes and scared the hell out of me. I backed away from the surprise, but relaxed when I saw the mocking smile on his lips. Oh so he is playing that game, I smirked. He is going to lose.

"Dorothylla, child you always fall for that one." He smiled and placed his hand on the ground as a sign to sit next to him. I raised my hands in surrender and placed my body next to his.

"One day I will learn not to fall for it. You and father always did that to scare me, and then laughed after. Hahah, so funny." I crossed my arms, making an angry grimace on my face, totally acting it out.

"Haha, I suppose you will. You know, someday in your life you will fall in the same hole many times, not even noticing, but once when you do, then you will fix your mistake and won't let it happen again. Years of life teach you something new every day, so don't be frightened to make mistakes, they make you human. Be afraid of not learning from them."

"Grand-uncle I suppose you did mistakes in your life." I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Many child, many. No one is perfect, but I try to acquire knowledge from every one of them."

"Did you?" I asked in a curious tone.

"Yes, yes I did. But I am sad that I didn't earlier. I know what the king was talking to you, about your mother Rey and about your heritage." He mentioned, in a deep and hurt tone.

"Yes, but I didn't believe him, it seems impossible."

"Nothing is impossible Dorothylla, and when it comes to family, I know that the best. My father was Darth Vader, and I was the hero that saved the galaxy. You are the child of ex Kylo Ren, so no, it is possible, and it is the truth. Your mother is a princess, and so are you. He is truly your grandfather, and you need to talk to him again."

"Why?" I asked, my head still on his soft shoulder.

"Because he needs to know that the events that happened were not on purpose, and that our side of the family wants forgiveness, we don't want a war, not again. Dorothylla, you are the only one that can communicate in peace with both sides, you can help and save the galaxy, not Rey, not me, not Ben, you."

"What happens If I don't succeed?"

"Then, there will be something that I don't want to think about. When two important families have a disagreement, it never ends well, this time it is worse. I must tell you the whole truth, just please promise me that you will forgive Leia and me." He turned to me, his eyes watery, tears threatening to fall on his cheeks. My heart started to hurt, is it even possible that he made so big of a mistake? If so, I know that forgiveness is man's greatest quality.

"I promise. To forgive you, and to help you fix the relationship between our homes."

"Then, it's time for you to hear the whole story."

Guys, new chapter is up! It's again in Dorothylla's perspective. I thought that is time to write about the things that are happening in the cells of Amerath. Dorothylla finds out about everything, and it's up to her to fix the two families, and bring forever peace between them, but will she succeed in her mission?
