We lay on bills bed, in the dark. I have my head tucked under his chin, and his hand is on my waist. A thought comes to mind.
"Bill. Where did the other you go?" I ask. He smiles.
"We merged, were one person now kid." He ruffles my hair, then puts his hand back on my waist. I'm confused.
"Are you going to be rude now?" Stupid question, but valid.
"I might have a little more sass, but other than that.. no." I sigh.
"As if you weren't sassy enough." He laughs.
"Get some shut eye kid." I close my eyes, and fall asleep with the boy I love.
