Parking up the drive way I glanced out the window to see the new house. The rays of the sun bouncing from window to window. I made my way out of the car and stepped out into what is going to be my new life. We moved because last year my dad passed away. Living back home held so many memories. Yeah they are good memories but it's hard to think about them when the one that experienced with you is gone.
"Rachel go inside explore a little. I'll bring everything in." That was my mum. Out of everyone I think she struggled the most. She tries so hard to be happy. Not for her but for me.
I throw my bag over my shoulder and walk up the porch. The rustic wood squeaked underneath my feet, as I made my way to the front. I held the keys and began to unlock the door. As I inserted the keys emotions began to take over, making my hands tremble. From all the shaking the keys collapse out of my hands. It's at this point I realised the day I said goodbye to my dad, was the day it was forever.
Sorry if it's bad I quickly put this together. <3
