"Josh."

I kept saying his name he was using my shirt that 'he' ripped off so try to slow down the loss of blood.

"Josh!"

"What?!"

He reacted fast and snapped.

"I'm sorry. Just focus on your breathing okay."

He kept rushing to try to help, pressing on my stomach and stroking it at the same time. He kept mumbling to himself as he couldn't think quietly. I placed my hands on his and held them. He breathed in then looked down; sighing he looked at me with tears in both our eyes, caressing against out cheeks. His nose and eyes were read from the cold and the tears.

"I need you to promise me something..."

"Anything I promise you."

I wanted to burst out crying but I couldn't. I knew I had to be strong.

"If, If! You have to chose to save me or the baby pick the baby."

"No, no. No! I won't let you die!"

He panicked and breathed heavy. He returned to keeping my warm and controlling the blood. I kept saying his name as tears began to fall out of my eyes down my skin.

"Josh!"

His pressure on my stomach loosened as he broke down crying.

"I don't want you to die."

His voice was shaky and mumbled by his sniffles. He knew that I would chose this baby over my life any day.

"Trust me if there is anything you can do to save us both go ahead but you know that even though I didn't want this child I wouldn't just let it die. Please, Please do this for me. Okay I love you so much!"

He put his hands up and squished them against my face giving me a soppy kiss like in the movies where they're all snotty and have been crying.

At this point we heard the sirens of the police and the ambulance.

"Rachel! Rachel!"

My mum swung open the door and screamed running over. I went to turn my head to look at her until it got heavy. My head collapsed onto the ground. I had no strength to hold it up. My mum fell to the floor she held up my head for me. The blood from josh's hands was on my face.

"Stay with me baby. Okay you can get through this I promise you."

My mum placed her hand on my cheek stroking her thumb against my skin. I smiled as water came down. He tried to smile through it too.

"I love you."

We both giggled.

"I love you too."

Her voice was broken. I glanced over at Josh who was crying. I put his hands in mine,

"God do I love you."

My mum looked over at him and held him close. This is my family. Even dad. He may not be here but he is for me.

Soon the ambulance ran down the ally with a stretcher. My mum wouldn't let go off my hand as they picked my up; lifting me onto the bed. Josh kept the shirt on my stomach and followed us to the ambulance. He kept limping as he was stabbed near the ankle. One of the ambulance men picked Josh into the truck and started to stitch and wrap up his ankle.

I was siting beside him with an oxygen mask on. They wanted to give me pain killers but I didn't want anything to effect the baby. One of the ambulance lady's kept keeping me in check. Trying their best to keep my alive.
