Goodbye.

Don't leave me too.

The next morning, I later woke up in my bed. Josh was gone.
I leaned over to my phone and saw I had 7 missed calls from my mum.  I immediately picked up my phone and rung her back. It was ringing and ringing but she never answered. I threw my cover over and quickly put on different clothes. Turning around to my phone laying on the bed it was my mum. 

"Mum what's wrong?"

Listening to her down the phone I could hear her voice breaking. I could already tell she had been crying. 

"Rachel honey. I'm now coming to get you."

"Mum tell me what's going on!"

"Honey... I was driving back and I saw Josh with a bunch of guys. He all of a sudden collapsed and is on his way to the hospital..."

At this point I collapsed onto my knees, I dropped my phone out of my hand and simply stared in front of me. My eyes gathered with water. I felt like I couldn't breathe. It was happening all over again...

*Flash Back*

"Mum what's wrong with dad? Why are the ambulance here?"

"Honey your dad collapsed and he isn't breathing..."

"He's not going to die is he? Please tell me he's not going to die!"

I was standing around the corner of the door as strange men would rush in trying to get him to breathe. 

"We need defibrillators, and we need them now!"

Later on a guy came running through the door with a large bag filled with this machine. They ripped off his top and placed the pads onto his chest and started to shout clear.

"Again!"

I couldn't handle it I ran over to my dad knelt down and shouted,

"Dad wake up please! Don't leave me!"

I knelt there shaking his shoulders.

"Someone pull her away."

My mum ran over to get me off. I was kicking and shaking, screaming to get them off. 

"Let go off me! I won't let him die. Please!"

My mum wrapped her arms around me and kept a hold of me. With my head buried in her shoulder listening to them shout clear and hearing my dads body hit against the ground. 

After listening for a few minutes with tears streaking down my face. They stopped. My mums arms let go. She raised off the ground and ran towards my dad. 

"Someone hold her!"

The ambulance grabbed a hold of my mum as she was screaming and crying.

"You can't leave him there keep trying!"

I couldn't move. I didn't know what was going on.

"I'm sorry there is nothing we can do... He's gone..."

My mum dropped to the floor. She never said a word all you could hear was her gasping for air as she was crying.

I ran through the men and past my mum grabbing a hold of my dad holding his head.

"Don't leave me! Please don't leave me!"

I layed my head down crying into him as the ambulance men came and took me off.

*Flash back over* 

I snapped back to my mum walking in through the door to take me up to the hospital. She looked at me as I had my hood down and just glared at my face.

"What happened to you?!"

I had no answer I was in complete shock. 

We had soon then made it to the hospital. I had taken time to calm myself down and ran through the doors. Quickly asking where he was and ran to where he was being kept. I could see where he was from a distance. I stood at the window and looked in. I could see his parents siting beside him on the bed holding his hands. His dad cradling his mum as she was crying. They looked up and saw me at the window. They soon came out and let me stay in the on my own. 

I sat down next to him and looked around the room to see multiple of wires hooked onto him. I rested my hand onto his face and looked down as my emotions over threw me. 

"Why did you do this?!"

I felt something lay onto my hand. I looked up to see him glancing at me.

*Chasing cars - Snow Patrol Playing* 

"Josh! What happened?"

He was just looking at me. Smiling...

"Why are you smiling?!"

He lifted my hand of his face and layed it next to him.

"You have your hood down. And you look so beautiful."

I tried to smile but I couldn't...

"I'm sorry. I couldn't let them get away with it."

I rest my head down shaking as I was crying. To see him like this hurts me. 

"Rachel. There is something I never told you..."

I looked up in hope it was something good until he said...

"I have a heart problem which can cause my heart to stop at random times... It was unexpected as I was born with cancer... They got rid of the tumour as much as they could but they couldn't remove it too close to my heart as it could done seriously damage. At time my heart stops for not even a second..."

I couldn't take it. There's is no point of being strong any more. I was siting next to the man that had made me feel after so long. 

"Stop crying please..."

I looked up to see tears run down his face. He lifted up his hand to wrap it around my face. Holding me. 

"Rachel. I lo...."

"Josh! Josh!"

His hand dropped the machines started to beep and go off. 

"Someone help! Please someone help!"

I looked at him. His eyes were closed I tried to see if he was breathing but I couldn't find a pulse. 

Nurses and Doctors came rushing in making me stand away in the corner. All I could think was not again. 

"We need the defibrillators!"

As soon as they brought in the big metals plates again. I crouched down into the corner. I whispered to myself,

"Don't leave me too..."
