Parties every night, study every day.

Sam:
"Who's this?" You quickly snatched the frame away from the youngest Winchester. "No one!" You exclaimed before Sam could get a good look.
You and him were on a hunt, the usual. People disappearing for more than a week. Dean had 'better things to do' so he didn't come. Although you would've appreciated it if he had—after all, you were more affectionate to the eldest brother.
Sam glared at you before snatching the picture back and looking at it. "'Valley Falls First Female Harvard Academics Scholarship.'" He read aloud and you blushed darkly. "Stop it! You annoying brat!" You shouted and looked away, embarrassed beyond reasoning.
Yes, it was true that you went to a top notch school. Yes, it was true that you had a dark past their. Yes, it was true that you left to pursue the life of hunting. No, you did not want to delve deep into a past that you have spent years burying down beneath layers and layers of other memories. Harvard...
The memory resurfaced and you grimaced and stalked off, pissed. "[Y/N]! Wait—I'm sorry!" Sam grabbed ahold of your shoulder and you stared at him vehemently. "For what? Persisting when I specifically told you not to?" You snapped, staring into his eyes angrily. "Yeah..." You groaned and tried to shake his grip off. "I'm not going to talk about it, in case you're wondering." You defiantly said. "I know," was all he replied with before pulling you into a hug. "I don't need you to tell me that it was rough."
That left you rigid and shocked. No one knew...no one did. And certainly—on your watch—no one ever would. "Is this some twisted way to guilt me into spilling?" Sam laughed lightly and shook his head, serious again. "No. It isn't. Just...I just...can we stay like this?" Sam's voice was soft and sad, making you hug back. It was only then that you realized that he needed the hug almost as much as you needed for the past few years.
"Sam, I have a proposition."
He just mumbled a response, making you roll your eyes. "If and whenever one of needs each other,"
Sam perked up at this, lifting his head from your shoulder. "If we need each other?" You nodded.
"we'll be there for each other. Nothing else but them." Your voice cracked and you blushed. No, you were not getting soft with the youngest Winchester.
It was quiet before you hear a reply.
"As long as there's nothing that can keep us apart, I'll be there for you, [Y/N]."
Dean:
The damn bastard is everywhere.
"[Y/N], the party girl, the scared girl..." Whatever this sick, twisted thing was; it was saying things about your life back in high school.
"Dean, the one who got around, the closed boy..."
You froze. Dean? This was the first time you were learning about Dean's past. It's only been a few months since you've joined up with the brothers to hunt, and they haven't told you about their past yet. "Come out, you bastard!" The words came out of your throat before you could comprehend it.
This wasn't what you wanted. You wanted them to trust you and tell them about their past, you wanted to be their friend so you all could confide in each other. Not this. Not a monster in a high school telling you about his past. "[Y/N]!" You turned around and saw Dean running his fastest towards you. "Dean!" You called back, starting over to him. He looked panicked, and you started to slow down.
