Put your head on my shoulder, baby
Haha lol I like that pic ^
You lounged around in your room, feeling the effects of having Castiel gone. He was like the outlet that gave you life, and without him you just couldn't obtain it without an indecent struggle.
"Sam's on a run, whaddya want?" Dean queried, popping his head in from your slightly ajar door. Head lolling in the most lethargic way, you met Dean's eyes. "Klondike bars." An eyebrow of his shot up, and you waved your arms as if it was so bothersome he was questioning your choices.
"It's summer and it's hot! Plus they're so good, get the Heath flavored ones—won't disappoint. But you get one, just one because I know it'll be a hit and I'll be left with none." You rolled onto your belly and waved. "Go tell Sam that, please."
Dean licked his lips before countering. "Why don't you? You haven't gotten out of your room in days except for food and the bathroom." "You're on your way out, so you just tell him. Don't question my actions, boy." Your tone was light though, and Dean could sense it clearly. "Well, if you insist on staying in your room, I guess I'll have to tell Cas it's just us—"
There was a thud and you were standing right in front of Dean, looking a little winded from your fall. "Cas is back?" Dean just smirked and shrugged, letting out a long 'I don't know,' which annoyed you to no end. "Tell me," you whined, drawing out the 'me' and latching onto his shirt, balling it into your fists. Dean gently pried you off, laughing. "I'll put you out of your misery—"
"Yes or no?"
"Hmm, yes."
You tore off past Dean running down the long hallways and into the room with the map, the entrance. You stopped and looked around before seeing two pairs of eyes staring at you quizzically. "Cas!" You shouted and barreled to him, jumping up latching on like a koala. He stumbled back and you wrapped your legs around his torso and arms around his neck. Sam watched with wide eyes, standing up to help in case Castiel fell, but he just stood there and slowly wrapped his arms around you softly.
"Hello, [Y/N]."
Suddenly that feeling of loneliness dissipated and the outlet was working again. "Why don't you ever call?" You pulled back slightly, just enough to see his reddening face. "You have a cellphone for a reason, use it." Castiel mumbled under his breath, eyes looking away from you before they landed on your face again. "I'm sorry, I'll call you more often." His deep voice sounded surprisingly soft, and you let a broad smile grace your lips. "Perfect. I missed you."
Your head was back on his shoulder again, and he moved his arms so they supported you, heart beating faster—something that he couldn't quite comprehend. Sam suddenly cleared his throat, making Castiel lift his gaze and stare at him. "I'm just gonna...go get the stuff right now." Sam said awkwardly, shuffling out before Dean stopped him. "Heath Klondike bars. We each get one and [Y/N] gets the rest." Dean then patted his brother roughly on the back and sent him on his way.
Sam grumbled as he went up the steps, keys jangling in his hand. "Why're you so complicated?" He said and you responded. "Because I'm awesome. Bye, Sam!" The door slammed shut and then arms were around you, prying you off Castiel. A whine escaped your lips, head turning to see Dean staring at Cas. His stare was intense, and you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. "When did this happen?"
He stepped between you two, Castiel narrowing his eyes and tilting his head at Dean's words. As for you, your cheeks flushed a bright red as you stammered. "W-What? No—no! Th-there's not anything!" Dean didn't relent, still giving you and Cas a suspicious state that made you jumble your words.
"Just leave, you asshole!" You finally shouted, shoving him away and pushing him down the stairs and into the hallway, where he slowly walked with a boisterous laugh. Huffing, you returned to Castiel. His face was tinged red, blue eyes avoiding your [E/C] ones.
"Welcome back," you muttered, looking down.
It had only been a week, but it was time for Cas to leave. "But you just got here!" You complained, standing in the entrance of the library with crossed arms and a pout on your lips. Dean just patted your back roughly, making you cough and sputter. Castiel looked at you in concern, but you waved him off and gave Dean a glare.
He wasn't too comfortable with you and Castiel getting close. You were like a little sister to them, so it only made sense.
Except, Castiel was thick and didn't get that you wanted him. You blamed it on the fact that he was an angel and they weren't used to emotions. "I'll call this time," he said, as if it would make his parting seem better.
And it did.
You smiled brightly at him and felt your heart soar. "Ok," your gaze softened noticeably, Sam clearing his throat because he was just a bit awkward around love. It never worked out for him or his brother, so that made sense. "I'll hold you to that promise." Clearing the room quickly, you hugged Castiel tightly, as if you transfer your feelings over to him and he could reciprocate them.
Castiel just hugged you back—almost as tightly. "Bye, [Y/N]." He grinned at you before releasing you and going up the stairs, hesitating at the top.
"Stay safe!" You called quickly, as he opened the door. He stopped and looked down, looking into your eyes. "I promise to." Then, he was gone.
Maybe next time you can tell him your feelings, after he finds Kelly. You smiled and sighed dreamily, sitting in a chair in the library.
You didn't know what was going to happen.

[ GHOSTLY ]
"Dean Winchester died.
From his state of death, it was obviously intentional-and not by him. Dean's case went on for years before running cold. It was simply left unsolved. It was devastating, resulting in his family never getting over it-and neither did he.
After he passed, Dean became a ghost without his memory of when he was alive. All he knew was that he had unfinished business before he died and he would finish it in the afterlife. He absolutely would not pass peacefully without knowing the truth-without knowing everything.
Enter Castiel Novak. He moved to an all new town and into a vacant house-which may have been the best or worst decision of his life. His first sign was when a man kept coming to his door, but he turned him away. Then things went missing, his cat would hiss randomly and words were written on his mirror in a language he couldn't decipher.
Then he finds Dean, and together they try to solve the case of his death and what happened in his life."
