I know you're not in love with him

∽∽∽

Crazily enough, you had a boyfriend. He was an engineer at his 5th and final year in college. He was 23 while you were 21. Score!

"Love you," he gave you a chaste kiss to you lips and left you. You gulped and waved bye to him sweetly, putting up the act. Although he thought you were normal; a housewife, college-girl. You were the complete opposite. As soon as your boyfriend of 2 years and counting left, you called up Dean and Sam.

"Y/n?" They responded simultaneously, sending chills down your spine. "Boys!" You cheered. "Got a job? Travis has to leave for the weekend so I'm free!" Dean chuckled and you could hear him taking over the phone. "Well, in the paper, there's been 2 murders in a big-time city. Could be unnatural or just a murder." You shrugged while putting on different clothes. In a second, you realised he couldn't see you shrug. "I'd take it, rather be safe than sorry." You announced, stepping out the door and locking your apartment door.

It was risky, having Travis. He was always away at school and his job, making you worry that one day he might not come home. He usually does, and when he doesn't inform you he'll be gone overnight you freak. You always watched out for him, even if he didn't know. You had eyes, and those eyes told you what went down. So far, so good.

In the background of the phone, you heard a commotion. "Put it down!" "I brought a sandwich, if that helps." "Put the damn sandwich up, Cas!" "Oh." "Gank it, Sam!" "What am I doing!?" You giggled at the commentary, the speaker accidentally being pushed on. "The damned thing!" "We would appreciate your help, Cas!" "You wouldn't take my sandwich, so, no." Your laughs be an uncontrollable as you kept on listening. You climbed into your Silverado, which Travis made you get, just shaking your head and smiling goofily.

You started the car (or truck, if you prefer) and backed out, keeping the music off to have a good ear on them. "Dammit, last time you spelled-bastard!" "Dean, you're attacking a lamp." "Wait, what the hell? No I'm not!" "It deceived you when it died. It let out a fine to make you hallucinate—" "What the hell, Sammy." You decided to put in your own input. "Hey, guys, the commentary is good, believe me. But, what's going on over there?" "Sammy, the table is not a siren!" "He was thinking of a siren?" "SAM!" You're car honked when someone abruptly stopped in front of you. "Boys, Cas," you said, muttering some profanities under your breath. "I'll be there soon—Hurry it up, old woman!" You completely forgot about them ignoring you, which you would have to scold them later on for. Right now, your mission was to just get over there through the city traffic.

"Ah, what the hell happened here," you asked, hopping onto a motel bed. Cas was gone, a sandwich in his place. He left soon after you came, mumbling about business with himself and personal things to relieve. "Some demon-witch-bitch came and when we killed it, we hallucinated and attacked normal objects." Dean snickered at Sam, adding a little something of his own.

"Yea, you attacked the table with your pelvis so hard."

"Dean!" Sam whined, hitting him. Dean glared at him and then you crossed your legs. "So, you ignored me earlier—" the Winchesters looked panic but relieved when Cas came and interrupted you. "Uh, I-I can go..." Sam widened his eyes and gripped Cas' wrist, practically hissing "stay" venomously. You bit back the urge to laugh at his reaction. "Hey, how about we all go out tonight, just to celebrate for sticking together." You smiled warmly at them all, your eyes crinkling at the edges. Dean smirked, "I'm up for it, maybe..." He went of on his own, blabbing about women and one-night stands.

Sam just chuckled and nodded while Cas reluctantly agreed after you convincing him to go instead of going away to work on "things." You clapped your hands, giving them all a mischievous look. "Let's go party!" You whooped, jumping off the bed and pulling them all into a group hug.

When you and the guys arrived at the bar, you saw a strangely familiar car, you dismissed it; saying there's more than one of it's kind. You couldn't help but look at Cas, seeing him staring down at you with an unreadable expression before he looked away. You four entered and you took Sam to go play darts with you. "If I win, you have to buy me a drink." You save him a look. "Up for it?" Sam crossed his arms and then grabbed one. "Bring it on, if I win, you have to buy me a drink."

"Glass of rum, please." You said sweetly as Sam trudged over to the bar; grumbling about cheaters. You waved and giggled, turning around. You laughed at Dean trying to pick up a girl, suddenly seeing a sight you didn't want.

"T-Travis?" You said in surprise. You went over to him, your steps become heavier and slower by each word you heard him say. "Single." "Out of college." "Living alone." "Could be my girlfriend." "You know, there's a private room..." Your eyes sprung tears, your blood going from a simmer to boiling. You stalked over to him and smiled sweetly. "Hi, babe. Remember me? Your girlfriend? Yes, I was wondering how school was going; you know, college." Before he and you knew it, you had slapped him hard.

Somebody pulled you away, turning up in a secluded area in the back.  "Cas," you whimpered, feeling heartbroken and betrayed. "I-I..." You hiccuped. "I should apologise. He's probably drunk, he couldn't have possible been doing this—" Cas leaned in close to you, his lips mere inches from yours.

"I know you're not in love with him."

You shook your head profusely. "Yes, yes w-we are!" You refused, thinking if you convinced him—maybe you could convince yourself too. You cling to Cas' trench coat, letting out intervals of sobs. You sniffled and looked down. "I'm sorry, I must be so disgusting right now." Cas just shook his head. "I love you." You did a double-take. "Wh-what?!" Cas gently took and cradled your face in his hands. "I. Love. You." He repeated, slowly. He slowly leaned in and you felt something surprisingly soft touch your lips. Cas.

Before you even knew it, you found yourself kissing him back with your hands entangled in his brown hair. You both pulled away, the sexual tension thick between you guys. "Wow," you breathed out, a small grin spreading on your tear-streaked face. "Pizza man," he simple explained and kissed you again, pressing your body closer to his. A hand landed on your shoulder and you pulled away from Cas, seeing Travis. "Look, babe—" you put up a hand. "Through." Was all you said before you giggled at Cas' hatred glare and possessive attitude.

"You know, I went chasing after he wrong man." You told him, resting your head on Cas' chest at the motel room you rented for you. "Mhmm?" Cas hummed, slowly stroking your hair and kissing the top of your head. "When the right one was in front of me." Cas looked at you as you say up and turned around. You kissed him long and slowly, your motel door bursting open.

"Keep it PG-13, I have Sam!"

"Dean!"
