"PAANO MO ALAM?" Welcy ask JD.

Agad na tinanong niya ito nang makalabas ang lahat sa kwarto nito.

"Your mom told me, noong nandito sila at papauwi na tayo, nasa restroom ka noon."

"Oh, I see."

"Have you remembered anything?"

"Meron."

"Like?"

"We were... k-kissing..."

Napangiti si JD. "Really?"

Marahan niya itong hinampas sa braso. "Stop it."

"What?"

Pinandilitan niya ito. "Whatever."

"Tell me what did you remember," anito at saka pinagsalikop nito ang mga kamay nila.

"I still can't. Putul-putol pa kasi."

Hinalikan nito ang kamay niya. "Then tell even if its 'putul-putol'."

Welcy smile. "Hon, hindi ko nga maikwento. Ano ba naman yan, ang hard mo."

"Yeah. I'm hard right now," bulong nito sa tenga niya.

Namula siya sa sinabi nito dahil alam niya ang ibig sabihin nito. Tinampal niya ang binti nito at saka siniko ito. Natawa naman ito sa ginawa niya.

"Alam mo, natatakot ako," mayamaya ay sabi niya makaraan ng ilang sandaling katahimikan.

Niyuko siya nito dahil nakasandal siya sa dibdib nito. "Why?"

"Kasi baka hiwalayan mo ako kapag nalaman mo na wala akong maalala sa nakaraan."

"What made you said that?"

"Because I am not who I am right now."

He sigh and kiss her crown. "Yes, you are. Dahil kahit hindi mo alam kung ano ka noon, alam ko na ganyan ka pa rin hanggang ngayon."

Tiningala niya ito. "How can you say that?"

"Because I knew you since highschool, hon."

"BECAUSE I KNOW YOU since highschool, hon."

Napaupo ng diretso si Welcy sa sinabi ni JD. "W-what?"

"I guess hindi mo pa naalala. Yes, we were classmates when we were in highschool. 1st year up to middle year. Until you went to Canada to transfer there until college."

Napakurap si Welcy. Ibig sabihin ay totoo ang nakita niya habang natutulog siya. "Y-you mean we had a r-relationship t-that time?"

Tumango ito. "We lasted for 8 months, mas matagal ang ngayon dahil magwa one year na tayo."

Napatuwid lalo siya ng upo. "I still d-dont remember that."

"Hey, hey, calm down. Come here," anito at niyakap siya.

"I-I can remember the s-scene, we were at the department building, sa likod. I was reading a book and you're lying on my lap."

Natawa ito ng mahina. "Yeah. It happened."

Napangiti si Welcy. Bumitaw siya sa yakap nito at saka tiningnan ito. JD smile and kiss her forehead.

"I'll do my best to remember everything, hon. I promise," wika niya.

"No, don't stress yourself out. Just keep it low. Baka kung ipilit mo hindi maganda ang mangyayari, alright?"

Ngumiti siya at tumango. JD was about to kiss her on the lips but a knock on the door stopped him.
