Chapter 11- Tournament pt. 2

Little recap.)

"Go!" says Inez into the microphone.

It took excatly one minute for Lucy to pin Ace down to the ground. Lucy is a good fighter. Also in anoher minute Ace had Lucy pinned to the ground. Lucy ended up kicking his head from under and he fell. She quickly got up and punched his jaw, then his face cutting his cheek in the process.

Darn Lucy can fight! I thought in my head.

After she punched him in the cheek, he punched her in the eye, and she kicked him in the gut. I could see a bruise form on her eye. And in the last two minutes of the tounament were mostly the same, he kicks her she punches him back. When I looked back at the tournament I found both of them standing up. Ace with blood covering most his face and a black eye, and what looks like a broken nose. And Lucy with a black eye and a cut to the forehead and blood comming out of her nose.

"And the winner is.....drumroll please!" says Inez into the microphone.

We all did that stomping thing, to make it sound like a drumroll.

"Lucy!" Inez said. Lucy jumping up and down cheering that she won. Ace just grumbled and went back to his seat. Lucy found her way back up to the bleachers and sat back down. "You okay Luce?" I ask looking at her bruised eye. She nods and look back towards the arena.

"Alright your next contestants are....." Inez trail off looking through the crowd.

"Nico and Jack!" Says Inez through the crowd. I look around and spot Nico and Jack high fiving each other. Once they made their way towards the middle of the arena they shook hands and stood back waiting for Inez to start the fight im assuming.

"Ready! Set!" Inez begins.

"Go!" Inez says through the microphone
