"How did they get out!" I whisper- shout at Lucy. "I don't know I got back like a few minutes before you came back and they were just gone! poof!" Lucy says.
"Why did you leave?" I ask fiercly. "Carlos was whining that he had another call, which turns out to be the doughnuts he ordered were ready!" Lucy says glaring at the air.
Stupid Carlos and his doughnut addiction.
"We need to find the asap" Lucy says nervously.
I nod my head and help search around the room. I check under the bed. No puppy. Under the farily high dresser. No puppy.
"Luce were never gonna find them!" I say, giving up. "Shh. Do you hear that." Lucy says freezing like a statue. I do the same motion and listen closely. I quickly pick up on the whimpers, of the puppies! "Where are they at?" I whisper to Lucy. She quickly shakes her head and nods towards the air vent from the ceiling.
Jusssttttt Greaaattt.
"The air vent?" I whisper to Lucy. This couldn't get anymore cliche.
Lucy nods and quickly walks to the door.
She opens the door, to all the campers.
Ohhhhh. Craaaaaappppppp.
