"Lucy they are not here!" I said looking at the trashed cabin. I jumped when Lucy popped her head out of a pile of blankets. "Well if they aren't here, then they are not in camp," Lucy says. I give her a death glare, which she returns with the same glare.
We glare at each other in silence until I cave in and look away, which Lucy smirks and goes back into the pile of blankets.
"Idiot" I mumble. "Heard that! I may be until this pile, but I have ears like at bat!" Lucy's muffled voice rings from inside the blankets.
"Well, I know one thing, when we find them puppies, they are going back to Parker. They are too much work." I say sighing, which Lucy agrees really quickly.
"Well why are we looking, in camp if they aren't here" I say. All I hear is silence until Lucy speaks.
"We. Are. Stupid." she says.
"Yeah..." I trail off, feeling shame.
"Ima go get some cake, then we can start looking through the woods" Lucy says getting up from the pile of blankets and walking through the door towards the pavilion.
I huff out some air and play and app on my phone.
