What Did Joey Say?

When we all got home, I couldn't even look at Joey because I was so nervous, and that's hard, 'cause its freaking Joey.

"Brittney!" he said

I turned around slowly and looked into his eyes.

"Come! Can I talk to you in my room?"

I nodded very slowly and shuffled my feet into his room. He closed the door behin him and I got even more nervous. 

"Take a seat."

I sat on the edge of his bed and he sat down next to me.

"Now, listen and don't interupt. Ever since I hugged you earlier today, I felt something. You are smart, talented, funny, and one of the most beautiful girls I ever met. Ever since I saw you winner that dance show, I knew you were perfect for me. So, now you may speak."

"I don't know what to say."

"I have one thing to ask you."

He stood up and got on one knee.

"Will you----"

I had cut him off. "I'm sorry we just met! I can't marry you!"

"I wasn't gonna ask that! Will you be my girlfriend?"

I burst into tears. "What would Sawyer say if I said yes?"

"He's fine with it!"

"You asked him!"

"Yes! Now just anwser! Please."

"Joey..."
