“But you have to rest!”

                “No.”

                “Hyori.”

                “Luhan.”

I ran my fingers through my hair, trying to get past Luhan.  My manager will for sure be pissed off if I skip a day of school, because it shows that I can’t handle the pressure of being an idol.  Our eyes met and his determined spark still hasn’t faded away.  Besides, Minri and Hyuna can’t practice well without me.

My arms crossed tightly over my chest, “I need to learn to graduate.”

“One day won’t hurt.  Yixing can always come over and give you your assignments.”

“Does he even know we live together?” I tried to step around him so I can leave my room, but he blocked my way.  I narrowed my eyes, but no emotion crossed my face.

                “Er, no.  Only Sehun.”

“Right.” I remembered Sehun coming over because he and Luhan were partnered together.  However, he told no one we were living together, or rather, housemates.  Sehun was shocked when he discovered Luhan and I were housemates, but he didn’t bombard any questions due to his shy and quiet personality.  I’m grateful for this, though, because I don’t want to face all hundreds of girls that drool over Luhan.  Anything else involving that night I don't quite remember though and I can't quite pin down why.

He shook his head and frowned, “Why won’t you rest?”

“Because I want to learn.  I love school.” I replied with no enthusiasm in my voice.

“You sure don’t sound like you do.” Luhan seemed to read my mind but dropped his shoulders, “At least let me walk with you to school.”

I raised a brow at him, “Finally given up?”

“Education must be so important to you, considering your class rank is one out of all the student body.” He stepped away, “So, let’s walk together?”

“I think I’ll die.” I quietly said, stepping around him and going downstairs with my bag and phone in hand.  I heard him quickly follow behind me, staying in step with my footsteps.  Thoughts raced through my mind as I went downstairs and rounding around the railing to the kitchen.

Why the heck is he randomly talking to me now like we’re friends?  Before, Luhan would never acknowledge my existence unless I cooked dinner.  I’ve been coming home late for weeks and only now is he taking my health into consideration?  Well, maybe he is finally noticing me.  Not that I care—I don’t care about people’s feelings at all, except my groups’, my manager's, and the other idol groups that I have the greatest honor working besides.

Quickly, I peeled an orange and ate some yogurt, then immediately began to head towards the front door to put on my shoes.  I glanced outside to see it snowed a few inches and a frown crossed my face.  I hate the cold just as much as I hate my housemate.  Hate is a strong word, but it’s enough to describe my feelings.

“Hey, Hyori! Wait up!” I heard Luhan call from the kitchen.  I glanced back to see him finishing up his cereal, but instead I just slipped my shoes on, grabbed my top coat and scarf from the rack, and headed on outside.  My pace quickened as the cold stung my face and breath began to come out in big clouds.  I can’t stand the cold.
