Hyuna POV

Excitement, nervousness, terror, and millions of other emotions began to course through my veins.  It was the evening before we debut.  I was on my way towards the studio room where we will be rehearsing one last time until the big day. Words can’t really describe how excited I am.

Five years of tears, hard work, sweat, and many days of wanting to give up is going to pay off, with both of my best friends by my side.

                “Hyuna!”

I heard my name be called from behind and I turned to see someone I didn’t know run towards me.  A faint smile spread on my face as I slowed my pace down but not stopping completely.  He caught up to me and began to walk at my pace, small clouds of his breath forming.

“M-May I have your autograph?” His eyes were sparkling and an immediate smile formed on my face.  Without responding, I nodded and he cheered.  I watched him reach in his coat pocket and pull out a small notepad and a pen.  He handed it to me and I opened it up, signing my signature and adding a little note saying: I love you!

“Thank you, Hyuna.” He bowed and I smiled.  His cheeks were bright red. “I’ll see you on your debut stage tomorrow.  I will support you and Aero until the very end.”

My heart fluttered at his words.  We’re already receiving fans. “That really means so much.  Thank you.  Thank you so much.  Aero will be sure to return your love.”

“I’m sure you’re busy, so I’ll see you later.” The boy smiled and scratched the back of his head, “Good bye.”

“Bye.” With a smile, I waved at him and began walking towards the company building again.  It’s only a few blocks down.  I dug my hands deeper into my pockets as the cold began to stick to me.  I’ve always been a sucker against the cold.  I hate it.  Absolutely hate it.

I turned the corner just in time to see Hyori.  Her eyes were casted down and small clouds came and went as she breathed deeply.  As I started walking faster, she raised her eyes and they came into contact with mine.  Being her usual self, she had a completely straight and emotionless face, but at the same time she is still so pretty.  I waved back with a wide smile stretched on my face.  She waited for me in front of the door and I ran by her side, watching her unlock the door with her card and both of us entering the warm building.

“How are you, Hyuna?” Hyori asked coolly.

                “Cold. Excited. You?”

“The same.” Hyori shrugged and removed her coat.  I did the same, following her into the practicing room.  I heard Minri’s voice floating down the hall into my ears, so it’s just her being her usual self and coming here about half an hour early.  Both of us entered the practice room and placed our stuff into the corner of the room.

“Hyori, are you sick?” Minri suddenly called out.  My eyes went wide and I turned to face Hyori.  I couldn’t quite tell her facial features outside because it’s dark and in the building, I was behind her.  But it’s shameful of me—

“No, just tired.” She replied quietly. “I had to stay later than usual after school.”

                “Are you testing?”
