Previously :A loud laughter was heard coming from the table to my left.
Best lunchtime ever...
(Please, once again, note the sarcasm)
11th Chapter: "Best lunchtime ever (Part 2)"
Riley POV:
Lucas clenches his fist, Maya rolls her eyes and starts biting the inside of her cheek, which I guess is something she does when she's pissed and Jake just looks, obviously annoyed.
Whereas I, turn my head to look at our jet-black haired friend.
"Couldn't you choose another table?"
I ask him, referring to the table next to ours, on our left. The one responsible for the change of our moods.
"I'm sorry; this was the only one left"
He says and I sight.
"It's okay"
Feeling some sort of tension in the air, I decide to bring up a new subject, hoping it'll lighten the atmosphere.
"Has anyone seen Farkle?"
All three of them focus their attention on me.
It's been 10 minutes where the hell is he?
Lucas's angry face turns into an amused one as he points at something behind me. I turn around in my seat only to see Farkle rushing to our direction and dragging a beautiful dark skinned girl with him.
"Hey guys! Selma these are the guys, guys this is Selma"
He says out of breath.
While waiting for him to catch his breath, everyone introduces themselves to Selma.
"Hey, I'm Selma Babineaux"
"Babineaux? Are you, by any chance, related to Zay?"
My gaze immediately lands on the cheerleader's and football team's table. The table I knew Zay would be sitting at.
However, he wasn't the reason why I looked in their direction...she was.
"Sadly, yes. Zay's my brother."
Answers Selma.
Samantha was sitting at that table and she was a part of the cheerleading team.
Her slick and raven black hair was tied in a ponytail, and it seemed that her head was in the clouds, for she wasn't participating in the discussion at their table.
As if she knew I'd be staring at that moment, she turns her head and my brown eyes meet her blue ones.
I immediately look away as soon as she smiles at me.
Maya finishes introducing herself and Farkle finally sits to my right, whereas Selma sits to my left.
"Did you guys hear?"
I just started eating my sandwich that another discussion was about to start.
I knew this one was going to be different just by listening to Farkle's tone. He sounded so excited.
"About what?"
Asks Lucas as soon as he has finished his sandwich bite.
I secretly thank him for not asking that question with a full mouth...I find it disgusting and I can't stand it when people do so.
