I instantly looked up, only to see Zane with bright red cheeks, glistening eyes, and a cute smile.
Oh, The smile.
Just looking at him made me go into a goofy grin from ear to ear. "I-I.. Um.." I stuttered. "I just want an answer Nia. Do you feel the same way?" He asked again, sitting next to me.
"Yes, I do Zane. I really like you. And I guess I didn't tell you sooner because.."
"Because you thought I wouldn't like you back, 'cause you thought I had eyes for Maddie."
I was surprised he knew what I was going to say, but I just simply nodded. He gave me a hug and whispered "Never." Into my ear.

Around 30 minutes of talking there was a long pause where neither of us spoke. We just stated at each other with small grins on our faces. "Nia, I have a question." Zane asked seriously. "I have the answer." I joked. Zane stared at me. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. My eyes widened.
"Are you sure your asking the right person?" I said nervously.
"Are you Nia Sioux Frazier?" He questioned.
"Yes..."
"Then I'm pretty sure your the person!"
"Haha.. Yea.." I trailed off.
"Well?" He asked eagerly. I could tell he wanted my response as soon as possible.
"Yes!!" I said.
He pulled me into a hug and kissed me on my forehead. I snuggled into his chest and fell into a deep sleep.
