So it had been about a week since I'd moved. I had unpacked most of my boxes, put my plush Sans in his place on an armchair in the corner of my bedroom, and even gotten a job. I got a job as an editor at a block of offices, with, coincidently, my neighbours and new found friends, Max and Ross.
It was a Wednesday morning, my alarm sounded it's familiar irritating beep and I rolled out of my bed. Yawning, I pulled a towel out of a drawer and threw it over my shoulder and headed for the bathroom. Hanging the towel on the bathtub, I turned to the sink and examined myself in the mirror. I looked tired so I splashed some freezing water on my face and turned to the tub.
"For crying out loud..." I muttered in annoyance to see my towel had fallen to the ground. I bent over to pick it up and my head cracked against the tub, a loud *bang* echoing threw the apartment.
"Ow! Fuuuu..........!" I yelled, standing up, rubbing my sore, bruised head as I threw the towel over the sink. I rubbed the pain away and hopped in the shower, turning on the hot water. As I stood in the shower I thought of Max's cute face. His red, neat beard, his big round eyes, the smile he has that puts a smile on my face. I smile to myself and wash my hair. Without realising it, I noticed I had grown slightly hard while thinking about Max. I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind, I can't think like that about my new friend and colleague.
I switched off the water and dried off, ignoring my slight erection as I did so. Looking in the mirror, I noticed my forehead had a somewhat large lump on it, a result to earliers inccident. I rubbed it and it throbbed so I stopped and decided to get dressed.
While I searched the apartment for my door keys, a knock at the door interupted me. I stood in slight fear, the knock a suprise to me considering the time. I shook away the fear and headed for the door.
"Hello!" Max yelled, smiling profoundly. His eyes as big as ever.
"Uh, hi?" I said, rubbing the back of my neck. "It's a bit early?" I said quizzically. He was about to answer when he spotted my bruise.
"Oh fuck! What happened M/R?" He begged, putting his hand on my head. I flinched and shook him off.
"I got a bit close with my bath earlier on..." I said sarcastically. Max's face contorted in confusion for a second before he realised what I meant. His smile reappeared and so did Ross.
"Ready?" Ross asked, yawning and scratching his hair.
"For...?" I said, leaning against the door frame, yawning myself.
"Oh, I forgot to ask." Max laughed.
"Want a lift?" Ross sighed and asked.
"Uh... sure, lemme just go find my keys... Come on in if you want." Max nodded and followed me in.
"I'll wait in the car." Ross yawned and disapeared down the hallway.
I searched behind coach cushions, under cereal boxes, under my gamecube. I even went to check Sans. I came back to the living room looking beffudled.
"Really?" Max said, giving me a sarcastically, yet highly snobby look. I frowned.
"What?" I said somewhat aggressively.
"Warm." Max said, walking towards me and leaning past me. Our bodies touched as he leaned down behind me. My body grew numb with fear and I felt a sense of closeness. I stiffened as he leaned back and was standing in front of me.
"They were right there..." Max said, handing me my keys.
"Oh..." I uttered in almost a whisper, heading for the door.
I sat at my desk next to Max and opened up the file with Adam's YouTube Simulator video. I began to edit it when Adam came to me.
"M/R?" Adam said, tapping my shoulder.
"Yeah boss?" I said sarcastically.
"Don't call me that!" Adam protested, slightly giggling.
"Sorry. What's up?"
"Where's Max?" He asked. I pondered for a few seconds before I answered.
"Not a clue..." I said, half turning towards my computer.
"Oh..." Adam said, turning away and wondering off. I was half done with the video when curiosity won and I called Max. He answered within seconds.
"Hello?" He said.
"Where are you? Adam's looking for you." I said. Max cursed and he cut off. I put the phone down in confusion and felt slightly insulted. I pushed it aside and got back to work.
