"She's no maid, yeah!" Another voice announced.
Kisame helped me up and I sheathed Juryoku. "Sorry I, uh, snapped at you. It's been a long day." I apologized and examined the other people in the room.
A shaking man in an orange mask stood up. "Tobi is Tobi." He said and held up a trembling hand. I couldn't help smiling.
"Hi Tobi." He stopped shaking.
"Etsuko-sama doesn't want to turn Tobi into a puddle of blood?" He asked.
"No." I answered, shaking my head. He jumped forward, gathering me into his arms and swinging me around. I laughed and held on so I didn't fly into a wall or another odd member of the Akatsuki.
"You're gonna make her sick, un." Tobi set me on my feet and I held his shoulder, blinking vision back into my eyes and recovering from the laughter.
"Is Etsuko-chan going to be sick?" Tobi asked, sounding cutely concerned.
"No, I'm fine Tobi." I assured him and gathered my balance. He moved out of my way and pointed to the blonde guy.
"That's Deidara-Sempai, Itachi-san, Sasori no danna, and Zetsu-san." He said introducing me to the other men in the room. It was then that I remembered the girls.
"Oh, that's Maeko, Chiya, and Hero." Hero barked at the mention of his name and ran up to Deidara, who had no choice but to pet him.
"Damn it." Hidan mumbled as he walked into the room and handed Kakuzu some money, which he then counted intently. "Couldn't you have gotten yourself fuckin killed just this one time?" Hidan asked.
"No, because I'm not immortal." I reminded him. I noticed Deidara and Tobi watching us questioningly. I pointed to my headband and they nodded.
"You three are going to have to sleep in here or with one of us-not me-because there aren't any rooms ready." Kakuzu, who was re-counting for the third time, informed us.
"Can the puppy sleep with Tobi?" He asked excitedly.
"I suppose." I agreed.
"I'm sleeping on the couch." Maeko deiced and Chiya nodded in agreement.
"What about you?" Hidan asked slyly. I was in no mood to argue.
"Is your bed covered in blood?" I asked skeptically.
"No, but the floor is." Kakuzu answered me.
"Whatever, I'm too tired to care." I grumbled and everyone started clearing out. I followed Hidan to his room, which was very close and set apart from most other rooms. It was down in what looked like a small basement, which was in fact covered in blood.
"This is gross Hidan. Don't you know how to clean up for yourself?" I scolded as I jumped coagulated puddles to his bed.
"Are you my fucking mother now?" He asked and lied down.
