"Just because Hidan talks like that doesn't mean you can! You are a lady and I expect you to act like one." I snapped at her. And this is exactly why they have to refer to me as Etsuko-sama.

"Everyone shut up!" Kakuzu yelled over us and picked up Chiya, swinging her onto his back so she would stop whining. I handed Hero-who was sleeping-to Maeko and jumped onto Hidan's back, narrowly avoiding getting my head cut off by his scythe.

"Let's just go." I grumbled and we took off. Considering no one was yelling and complaining we got there under the time that had been expected.

"Nervous?" Hidan taunted. I sighed and hopped off his back.

"Hidan, I've started an entirely new life three, maybe four times. I don't have one damn thing to be nervous about." I told him and watched in boredom and exhaustion as he made a few hand signs, which resulted in a boulder moving.

I took Hero from Maeko and kept a hand on her shoulder, knowing she was scared whether she wanted to admit it or not. We followed Hidan inside, down a few dark corridors, and then through a door into what looked like a living room with an adjoining kitchen.

"Stay here and get acquainted. We'll be back soon." Kakuzu said and set down Chiya, who linked arms with Maeko. Soon Hidan and Kakuzu were gone and had left us in a room with strange, dangerous men.

"I didn't know they were assigned to bring a girl home." A guy who resembled a shark said with a sharp toothed smirk as he eyed me.

"There are three of us." Maeko informed him as if it would make a difference.

"Yeah, two of which are minors." I reminded them.

"So are you." Maeko retorted.

"I'm twenty years old Maeko! In what universe is that a minor?" I just don't know what to do with people sometimes. I can't smack the stupid out of them.

"Uh, ours." She insisted.

I dropped Hero on his paws since he was awake and threw my hands up. "Why, why do I constantly have to be surrounded by ignorance? Am I the only smart person left on the planet?" I asked the ceiling in desperation.

"So, did Leader-sama kidnap you to be our maid or what?" The shark humanoid asked.

"Say one more thing fish boy and I'll turn you into a years' worth of sushi!" I warned him and drew Juryoku.

Before I knew what was happening I was pinned to a wall by a giant, wrapped sword, with Juryoku tucked under it. "Maybe you should calm down." The shark said with a sly smiled. He was too close to me. Much too close, and it only made me angrier.

"Get off!" I demanded and tried to kick him. It wasn't working. "Damn it, I'm so tired!" I groaned and let the weight of his sword hold me up.

"That's what I thought." He said and moved his sword, causing me to slide to the floor. He crouched down a held a hand out for me. "Kisame Hoshigaki." I took his hand and let out a breath.

"Etsuko Inoue." That sparked some other voices.

"Bad girl!" An immature voice exclaimed from somewhere in the room.
