"Damn it I just want to sleep." I groaned and sat up, pulling the shirt off and leaving me in just my underwear.
"Whoa, what are you doing?" Kisame asked as I lied back down.
"It's hot in here." He grumbled something and went back to rubbing my back.
I'm insane. I'm completely insane if I'm really going to lay here like this. Kisame won't try anything though will he? I mean, if he does I can take him. No, I could normally take him, but I can't like this. I'm too, I don't know. Am I sick?
I was just starting to fall asleep. The sweat was cold on my body, like I had a nightmare, but it felt good. I turned partway on my side and snuggled into Kisame's side. He fixed my position against him and covered up to my waist with the blanket. Everything was perfect for a few minutes, then someone went running down the hall.
They could have gone anywhere, but they flung open the door, got in, and slammed it closed behind them. I watched half asleep as Chiya slid down the door. She was crying uncontrollably and holding her head. I was suddenly normal again. I got up and walked to her, crouching down.
"What happened Chiya?" I asked her gently and rubbed her arm.
"I..." She choked on a sob and then took a deep, shaky breath. "I had a dream about what you did today, but you fell and I must have been thinking about what Kakuzu told us about why you don't like things around your neck because..."She broke down again and didn't have to say and more. I got the point.
"Come here, Chiya. It' okay. Neither of those things are ever going to happen." I assured her. She hugged me and I made myself comfortable on the floor. It was clear that I wasn't moving any time soon, or so I thought.
Kisame crouched beside me and touched Chiya's shoulder. She looked at him and sniffed, rubbing her eyes. "Come here kid." She crawled to Kisame without a word and he picked her up. She looked so much smaller than a thirteen year old girl. She's so sensitive and look where she is. How is she going to survive in the Akatsuki?
The three of us got into bed and even thought I was hot I pulled Kisame's shirt back on. I noticed Chiya was wearing one too.
"Whose shirt to do you have Chiya?" I asked as I wiped the tears off her cheeks.
"Well, I asked Kakuzu first, but his are all cut up in the back and Hidan doesn't have any. Tobi gave me one." She answered, calming down a bit. "Why weren't you wearing your shirt?" She sounded a bit uneasy.
"I was just hot, don't freak out about it." I told her. It wasn't long after that we were all asleep.
When I woke up the next morning I raided Kisame's bathroom just as I had Hidan's, but Hidan's had been cleaner, which is kind of shocking. While I was in the shower Chiya came in.
"I need in there after you," She said, sounding uncomfortable.
"Yes ma'am. Close your eyes." While she did as I told her and I snuck out of the shower, leaving it running and switched her places. I kept my back turned and dried off while she got undressed. A knock came on the door and I covered up before opening it.
"Thought you might need this." Kisame said as he handed me my small bag.
"Thank you." He nodded as I took the bag and close the door. I dressed the same way I had yesterday and left before Chiya was done so I could make breakfast. Before I could start I notice Maeko wasn't on the couch. I decided it wasn't anything to be worried about until I heard things coming from Hidan's room.
I walked to the door, figuring whatever they were doing wasn't going to stop if I walked any faster. I opened the door and heard a small gasp. "Relax." Hidan said. My stomach churned and I rubbed my temples.
