"She's doing fine. I don't think it'll be a problem." I told him and rubbed my left temple. I was getting a headache and it was starting there. I never get headaches, but when I do they might as well be migraines because I can't concentrate on anything but the pain.

A few minutes later the volume in the room and light was killing my head. It was mostly in my left eye. I had to stop eating and just sip my water while shading my eyes and closing them to the table, where I was slouched forward. Just as I was going to get up and hunt down some medication a large hand closed over my shoulder.

I regretfully opened my eyes and looked to my left at the person, having to squint because of the light. It was Kakuzu.

"Close your eyes." He ordered as I turned to face him.

"Why?" I asked groggily, covering my left eye.

Kakuzu grabbed my hand and pulled it down to my lap, getting close to my face. "I said close your eyes." It was borderline threatening, but I was in too much pain to argue. I let out a long breath through my nose and let my eyes fall shut.

Two fingers gently touched my left eyelid and then slid forward and up. His fingers moved through my hair and to the back of my head, where he tapped once and the pain vanished. I opened my eyes slowly, blinking hazily at his focused face. I was suddenly very tired.

"Go lay down in my room. The blood in Hidan's will only make you sick." He said and he was right. The pain was gone, but I was still a little nauseous. He helped me up and pressed my cold glass of water into my hand.

"Thank you Kakuzu." I told him quietly, not waiting for his reaction before shuffling off. I got to his room, which was dark and crawled into his soft, warm, good smelling bed. I took a sip of water before laying down and closing my eyes, burrowing into the pillows and blanket. In the pillows I pulled the one my head was on a little over the one next to it, creating a little, cozy indent for my head.

"Hey," I was fast asleep and thought maybe if I didn't respond they would go away. "Etsuko." It was Deidara. That made me want to open my eyes less. "Wake up or I'll blow you up." He threatened.

Letting out a breath I opened my eyes, closing them immediately after. "Get Kakuzu!" I snapped and writhed in the bed clutching my head and whimpering. It felt like my head was exploding. The pain was everywhere and intense.

"Huh? Why?" Deidara questioned, taken aback by the sudden urgency.

"Just get him now!" I yelled and rolled around, not that it was going to help any. I did this for a little under a minute before Kakuzu's hands pinned my shoulders to the bed. I didn't have to open my eyes to know it was him.

"Stop moving." He said calmly as my legs shifted restlessly. As I did as I was told my eyes brimmed with tears. It hurt so bad I couldn't stand it. It burned and throbbed and felt like someone was stabbing away at my head.

One of Kakuzu's hands moved from my shoulder and touched in between my eyes. I could feel him taking deep breaths and as he did the pressure and pain decreased until there was none left. With a finger he drew an "x" on my forehead and then leaned down until I could feel his breath. He pressed his lips to the "x" and then I felt very tired away.

I opened my eyes and rubbed the tears out of them as he moved away. "When you fought Sasori you got a cut on your left temple." He touched the small scar that was there. "You didn't notice it, but whatever cut you was poisonous. It was slow acting and all I could do was wait until it went into effect." He informed me.

"Sasori- "A high, loud voice began, but was cut off.

"Not so loud Nao." Kakuzu warned her. I hadn't even noticed her until she poked her head above Kakuzu's shoulder. He was sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Sasori tried to kill Etsuko-chan?"
