Chapter 11

A/N: Hey guys! This is quite a long chapter so I hope you enjoy it! Also there's loads of different POV's in this one, just a heads up so I'm sorry if it gets confusing!

Taylor's POV

Thinking back to what Charlie said earlier, as much as I hate to say it, I'm starting to think she's probably right. I mean, why would a famous pop star like a random high schooler? It just doesn't happen. Not only that but I totally thought Lauren was straight, like I'm genuinely really surprised by this. But then again, she probably is straight and is just messing around, like Charlie said. Obviously she has no clue how Charlie feels but it makes me angry that she'd do something like that. She probably got dared to kiss a girl. But she could kiss any girl, why Charlie? I suppose Charlie is beautiful and she's super popular, yeah that kinda makes a bit more sense now.

And what the heck was up with Stacey? Like I mean, when we were sitting outside she was acting almost... jealous? She kept draping herself all over my sister, it's kinda weird. Geez, I swear if this head cheerleader likes Charlie then this is gonna be one messy love triangle.

I sighed and rolled over in bed. It was only 10pm so I was just lying here thinking. I suddenly remembered I had Dani's number now, which is like totally awesome, she's amazing! I am a fan and she knows that but I would love to be her friend, not because she's famous, but because I think she's a wonderful person and I know she'd be a great friend to have. Friends are like your own fans really aren't they?

I took out my phone and searched for her name in my contacts. I wasn't really sure what to say to her, I didn't even know if she knew about what happened earlier, but I decided I'd start a conversation anyway and she replied almost immediately.

To: Dani Cim⭐️

T: Hey Dani, it's Taylor Hershall

D: Oh hey, how's things?

T: Yeah good, interesting, how about you?

D: Same here, did Charlie tell you what happened?

I didn't know how to answer this... I didn't want to tell Dani about the kiss if she didn't already know.

T: Uh yeah, did Lauren tell you?

D: No

My heart sank, oh great, she's going to ask me now.

D: I actually guessed

I was shocked, what?

T: You guessed?! Wait what? How did you even guess that? 😱

D: Haha, I just know Lauren pretty well 😂

T: Well, do you know why?

D: Idk, I'm not getting involved, we should probably stay out of it

Okay, so this was basically Dani saying she wasn't going to tell me why the heck Lauren kissed my sister, damn.

T: Yeah you're probably right, well I'm going to bed, see you tomorrow 🙋

D: Okay, goodnight ✌🏼️

I put my phone on charge, switched off the light and closed my eyes. It was difficult getting to sleep. All I could think about was Charlie and Lauren. She may be a teen icon but if she messes with my sister she'll have me to deal with.

Lauren's POV

I swear I'm gonna throw this alarm out the window one day. It was 6:30, I'd set my alarm to wake me up a bit earlier today because I wanted to make sure I could get to school earlier and not have to bump into Charlie, her sister, or Stacey in the hallway.
