Charlie's POV

"Come on, come on, come on, come oooooon!"

"NO, NO, NOOOOOOO!"

"YES!"

"FUCK!"

"IN YOUR FACE HERSHALL! SUCK ON THAT!" I slammed my wii remote down and cursed Diddy Kong into the next century as I rolled my eyes at my dramatic best friend.

"Wow, great sportsmanship there, Jen," I huffed sarcastically and folded my arms over my chest as I sunk further into the bean bag.

She gave me a face eating grin and tossed her hair over her shoulder. "It's not my fault that you're overly competitive... it's your one weakness! Well, other than Lauren," she teased.

I threw the pillow I was leaning on across the room and groaned when she ducked just in time. She is pretty accurate though; I'm way too competitive for my own good.

"Hey, who the fuck even thought a rainbow would make a good road? You can't even get rainbows in space!"

Jenna pulled out two more beers and removed the caps before heavily plonking herself down in the bean bag next to mine and handing me a bottle.

"I don't know dude, but I reckon the creators must have been hella high on the good stuff when they came up with that idea," she shrugged and took a healthy swig.

"Right!? Some hella strong shit," I nodded. We were silent in our thoughts for a moment before she jumped up on her feet once again.

I watched as she dragged her boom box across the floor then rummaged in a drawer before straightening up smiling victoriously. "Wanna make a crazy video like old times?"

I grinned like a maniac, "ohhh yes!"

It was now about 9pm on a Sunday night and we were on our 4th beer so to say we were in good spirits is an understatement.

"Oh my God, no, why don't we do a livestream?" Her eyes widened with excitement and I nodded my head enthusiastically and pushed some furniture out of the way to make some room.

I dashed across the oak floor of the game room we had spent the past couple of hours in and rifled through a cupboard. I pulled some things out of the way and knelt down to get a better look in the back. Aha! I retrieved what I had been looking for.

I skipped back across the room and coughed loudly to get Jenna's attention. She was busily setting up the tripod and connecting it to her laptop. She glanced over her shoulder at me before bursting out laughing and clapping silently like a deranged sea lion.

In the 3rd grade, her and I had entered the school talent show as a duo covering Dancing Queen by Abba. Unfortunately we came 2nd to some nerd who played the spoons... I'm not bitter at all. Anyway we'd gone all out with our outfits and I had managed to unearth our metallic hot pink and blue newsboy caps and oversized star glasses.
