Chapter 8.

Currently, I was standing in the balcony attached to my room in the suite. It was about time to leave. The bell boy had already taken our bags down and we were about to go to the lobby. I was admiring the view when I heard the bell ring. It didn't ring for long so I figured that Ems or Corrie must have opened the door. I went out to check and as I guessed, Ems was there but with the guys behind her.

"Hi guys." I said with a smile. "What are y'all doing here? I thought we were about to meet in the lobby?" I asked.

"Well, we thought that since our rooms were only opposite we could pick you girls up and knowing the history of you girls taking so much time in getting ready. . We thought it was better." James smirked.

"Ha, ha. We don't take so much to get ready. It was only today morning that to because of Corrie." I said.

"What about me?" Corrie said as she came from her room.

"Nothing, except for the fact that you take too much time to get ready." Max smirked.

"Hey! I'm a girl, I take time. Sue me." She replied sarcastically.

"Anyway, now since we all are here can we leave?" Ems said whilst shaking her head.

"Yeah, wait. I just have to get my purse." I said as I headed towards my room. I grabbed my purse and cell and went back outside. Once we were all set we left the suite and reached the lobby. I had already made the payments after we came back from breakfast so I didn't need to do anything else, except for returning the room key. The guys still had to pay their total bill so they headed towards the reception while Corrie, Ems and I were waiting in the lobby. Corrie and Ems were waiting on a couch while I went to call for my car. Once I did I joined them. After about 5 minutes of waiting the guys came towards us.

"Okay, so we paid the bill. Now can we leave?" Chase asked.

"Yup!" All three of us said as we got up from the couch. We were just about to turn and walk when we saw Matt approaching.

"Hey, guys." He smiled.

"Hi Matt." I said.

"Hey." Corrie said.

"Hi." Ems said in a timid voice. Guess she was still upset about the date.

"Hey, Emily. Can I talk to you for a second?" He asked.

I nudged Ems and gave her a look which told "what you doing? Go talk to him!"

"Yeah, sure." She smiled. She followed Matt towards the garden behind the fountain. Chase looked slightly disappointed seeing Ems walk away with Matt.

"What's up with you, Chase?" Corrie asked.

"Huh? Nothing. I'm fine." He tried to say nonchalantly. He kept looking at Ems and Matt who were now talking and laughing.

"Aw! We're jealous now, are we?" I asked.

"What? No. Jealous and me? Psh. Never!" He said.

"Yeah, yeah. We believe you." I said in a sarcastic tone." I said.

"Seriously. I'm not jealous." He said.

"Yeah, fine. Whatever you say." Max joined in. After that we stayed silent for a few minutes as we watched Ems and Matt talking.

"Okay, what's taking so long?" Chase asked in an irritated tone.

"Why are you so annoyed?" James asked with a smirk.

"Okay, fine. I might be a little jealous." Chase admitted.

"Aw. Chase has a crush!" Corrie exclaimed.
