🔃Megan's POV🔃

"I AM GOING TO KILL YOUUUUUU!" I screamed over the top of my lungs at James only to be replied by his roaring laughter.

"OH, GOD! PLEASE SAVE MEEEE!" I screamed again as we both jumped from the plane.

~A few hours earlier~

"Hello, boys and girls! Today, I, Blake Sholton will be your instructor and will teach you how to skydive in one day." The overly-excited instructor, chirped as we all sat in a semi-circle in a huge garage-looking space with a white board in front if us which had all sorts of SkyDiving ads and pictures. All of them promoting, as I quote, "the best skydiving experience givers." Yes, "givers", the AdventureFun Group.

"First of all, we're going to start with a few physical exercises like running. And to make this a even more 'funner' experience we are going to get in a little competition over here! Now would you all please follow me to the, as we call it, pre-battle field." He smiled and started walking out of the huge garage with all of us on his heels. God, what have these guys gotten us into?

~~~~~~~~~~~
"Okay, so let's start the competition. It's going to be a running race between two teams. Now, I have divided the teams to make this easier. Team A has Chase, Corrie and Megan. Team B has James, Emily and, wait, whose DM?" Blake looked up from his clipboard in confusion.
"That's me. It's actually Max but I guess someone changed my name!" DM glared at me, Corrie and Ems and then at James, who I guessed must've registered it as DM and we all gave him teasing smirks.
"That's nice to know. So, anyway! Let's get this preparation for the war started! Let's go, let's go!" Blake shouted and jogged towards the end of the track while we took our positions at the mark.
Corrie and Emily were up first. Oh, boy. Emily knows she's gonna lose this one. It's not like I'm discouraging Ems, it's just that Corrie has won the track competition 3 years in a row. She is as fast as lightning.
"Chill, Ems. I'll go easy on you." Corrie winked and then Blake finally blew the horn which we could hear throughout the obnoxiously huge open-spaced sports field. It had a racing track, a cemented plain area used for skateboarding, a wall used for rock climbing practice, a trampoline and fake bungee for trial, I guess. Basically it was a huge place!
Ems and Corrie started their run as soon as the horn was blown and surprisingly, Ems did give Corrie a little competition but eventually Corrie raced Ems in the end. Next up were James and Chase but DM had made James exchange with him because while Ems and Corrie's race both had made a bet that one would beat the other by a long mile. And so that led to the change.
DM and Chase took their positions and once the horn blew, they both took off like cheetahs. It was close. Me and Corrie cheered for Chase as James and Ems did the same for DM. In the end, DM and Chase reached the end point at the same time, making one another equal in competition. They took it as sports and now, it was mine James's turn.
"Ready to lose?" James smirked, as we both took our positions.
"In your dreams." I snorted, just as the horn blew.
James took off at full speed while I just ran with slow speed. As the end closed in, I increased my speed and put in all the energy I had. James's stamina was decreasing a little but he still kept up to the pace I was going. I got ahead of him but that was only for a second and eventually, he beat me but it was only by a fraction of a distance.
I tried to get my breathing back to normal as I leaned forward with my palms on my knees.
"Okay, guys! Let's get back to the other activities!" Blake shouted. "Good job, both of you." He smiled and made his way back.
